What makes your place into your home? And if you don't feel that you live at home at the moment, what is he thing that you are missing?

If you'd like to share a childhood memory, or a teenage experience, that would work great too.

    Paintings.

I like to paint watercolors and oils and it's not "home" until I have some of them up on the wall.

Right now, home is where my couch is.. it's where I go to sleep when I am sick or feel bad. It's so comfy and I love the way it cradles me.

The bead curtains for the doorways. I like the clicking sound they make when I go through.

As my dad use to say 'Home is where you hang your hat'. We took a condo and remodeled it, painted it, furnished it, added all our own personal touches and we live there together, enjoying it. That makes it our home!

Until you're a home owner its not your home so I don't feel secure until I have a home that's mine. Sadly with the way the housing market is in this country I pay more in rent than I would pay on a mortgage meaning its impossible to save for a deposit so ill probably never have an actual 'home' and I'll just live in someone else's house icon_evil.gif

I miss my beautiful weather, pristine rivers and several exotic birds that come and go pass right in front of my home.

Correction: Until you buy a place you don't own a house.

You have a home when you set up a place to live and enjoy, regardless of who owns the building, it's still YOUR home!

My home is my sanctuary in my many respects. I get to "play" outdoors with my garden, yard and beagles where I can't elsewhere...LOL.

Actually I just love the peace and quiet. Love my house!
