I had a fun day skiing at the Alpine park in Wisconsin. I am good with skiis and I tried the board for the first time ever. I got beat, I got tired, and I was happy. It's weird but I like it.

I noticed boards are somewhat more popular. Are skiis less "cool?"
Which one is you and why?

Well for one you don't see many boarders in matching one piece purple and turqoise ski jumpsuits.

On a totally serial note skiing is just as popular still but with a broader age range. If you really want to go outside the norm join me in snowblading icon_razz.gif

Skis all the way! Been skiing since I was 3. It isn't less cool.. there are plenty of people that ski and plenty of people that snowboard. Snowboarding is more difficult day one but has an easier learning curve.. while skiing is easier to pick up on the first day, but more difficult to be good at.

I personally like skiing much better because it deals a lot with technique. Makes me want to hit the mountains right now!

Skiing is cool. Boarding sounds fun too... but I have only been on a surf board.

To the question you asked, skis or snowboard?, my answer is skis AND snowboard. I love doing both. Each sport has a lot to offer. No reason to limit yourself.
