I think infecting lots of people with a fatal disease like Ebola or a zombie virus would be bad, especially if you didn't die of it yourself and had to watch all these people suffer.

Seriously? You really want to know?

Dying like my mother… She was 91 years old. Had had multiple strokes in the previous few years. Was completely paralyzed. I don't know but I suspect, you know how your leg feels when it falls asleep? Imagine that tingling sensation all over your body and it won't go away? She didn't know who she was or where she was, really. She could make sounds but barely intelligible. Sometimes she'd make eye contact but it wasn't clear that she recognized any of us. She would sometimes just lie there screaming… but with no sound coming out… just her face all contorted and this pathetic sound (not really a scream) like a gasp.

She went through hell before she finally died. I mean hell. And she didn't deserve that. No one does.

My first partner, by contrast, had a brain aneurism, went unconscious and never came back. Very quick and relatively painless.
