Hey I just woke up and it's still the early hours of the morning so this infomercial for the combat work out dvd has been on for a while and it looks amazing. Has anyone here used it and would recommend it?

I can't tell if I'm just vulnerable to the advertising because I'm still tired or if I'm genuinely interested lol.

Not to hijack your thread because I haven't done the Combat dvds BUT I have done the GSP Rushfit dvds and really liked them. They are great if you want a MMA style workout!

This clip will give you an idea of what the workouts are like. The clip happens to be one of the workouts using weights but there are also ones that focus more on the MMA moves. Highly recommend them.

I like les mills workouts. I normally do them at the gym but you can find the 'combat' workouts online to download quiet easily (ultimate warrior) or something. its pretty good, mainly cardio.

Just saw your post and I am familiar with this program and the company that produced the DVD kit, Beachbody. They are the ones behind P90X, Insanity, Body Beast, Turbo Fire and the list goes on. They produce the best DVD's on the market, have an amazing website to find accountability groups on-line and even free fit club groups in most cities. If you follow the routine as described along with the meal plan options they suggest, you will get amazing results. What is also nice about the various programs is that they show you how to adapt each workout to fit your specific level of ability and help you advance and you get stronger. They also provide a money back guarantee so you can try the program for 30 days and if you don't like it, you can return it for a full refund! I am currently using P90X3, the latest program in the fitness line and liking it as well. I am saving a lot of money, its like having my own personal fitness trainer, nutritionist without the major cost.
All that to say, I highly recommend trying it. Remember, if you don't like it you can get your money back.

Les Mills Combat is one of my favorite workouts. You get a lot of cardio via the matial arts and then there are a couple of days where you do a little weight work. It really works out your whole body and they can be a little bit entertaining too. That GSP Rushfit looks interesting too.

I was going to buy the dvd today or at least get it ordered today but I've just had to close my bank account down because it was emptied by fraudsters. The bank will give me the money back as soon as I have a crime number but unfortunately I'll have to hold off on ordering it until then icon_sad.gif

Thanks for all the info on it though it sounds awesome from the tv ad but I'm glad to hear from actual people who aren't paid to say how good it is lol

I have done combat and bodypump at the local Y. Love it it is what I lost most of the weight on Just now getting back to it. I have been doing free weights the past 10 months ao I am mixing it up and adding free weights to it. You will burn between 6-800 calories. I like it with a live instructor th0.
