[Disclaimer: long emotional rant ahead as a result of my personal experience]

I used to try my BEST to be the good gay guy, and by that I mean the gay guy that made the straight guy feel comfortable to be around gay guys. You know, the gay guy where the straight guy says "gee I used to be a homophobe but after I met you I think gay guys are cool thanks to you eroding away my phobia." Including being the "good gay guy" meant not hitting on the straight guy, not showing any sign that I was remotely interested in the straight guy, and engaging in talk about females and their body parts. The whole agenda was to get straight guys to think of gay guys without stereotypes for the greater good of chipping away at homophobia.

No, fuck that. I've changed my mind. What I did only kept me in the closet. Those bitches need to know that when I find them attractive, I find them attractive and don't give a fuck if that makes them feel uncomfortable, because you know what? I want my fucking dick sucked too.

Here's the event that made me pissed...

I encountered a hot "straight" guy at a gay bar 21 months ago. It was in the middle of a bunch of straight clubs at Winter Music Conference '07 so it's not like he went out of his way to get there. He was dragged there by his manager and told me he didn't feel comfortable around all the fags. After he found out I was gay he was shocked and was like "shit I've never met a gay guy like you" and I felt honored that I could yet again break away stereotypes.

But today I found out I was the first guy he liked and he wanted to suck me off that night.

I DIDN'T GET FUCKING LAID BECAUSE I THOUGHT I'D ERODE STEREOTYPES INSTEAD?!?!? FUCKING BULLSHIT!

Erode stereotypes my asshole. I'm going to be one big fucking stereotype. When I see a hot dude, I'm gonna hit on him. I don't care if I scare him even more. I'll chase that bitch too. Too many guys are closeted and give subtle hints but I'm too retarded to pick up those hints. So I waste away the ultimate gay guy's fantasy to pop the mangina for the first time, and for what, to break stereotypes? Ahhh fuck that shit. The only stereotype is trying to appease the straight guy by entertaining his needs and ignoring my own. What am I, a chick?

Straight guys hit on whatever they see having no shame in whether or not the chick is taken or even straight. So despite the odds against me, I'm just going to hit on whatever dick I find attractive, and I encourage you to do the same. And if he gets offended or shocked, whip out your dick and say "AHHHH SUCK IT BITCH!" and then smack him with it.

awww *cuddles* its alright, you go scare the straights you tell them bitches whos boss and when they be done servicing you.. well.. I don't know.. but still *cuddles*

I know what you mean though, I stopped trying to make everyone comfortable and just went for it, its a lot better, some guys get put off by me, but, I'm up front, everyone knows where they stand and thats it, but most straight guys are cool with it, I tell them they are hot in a very uninterested way..

I like the ones who think they can get away with more because they know I think they are hot.. I smack them back into line and take a good notch outta there ego at the same time icon_biggrin.gif

Its so much fun icon_smile.gif go do it, make the straighties squeal icon_razz.gif

Ahaha. I had one like that back in college. He didn't know I was gay though... but man! The signals. Next time I saw him, he had a gurlfriend. icon_cry.gif

That said, I still believe in being the good gay guy and only do the mind-control thing discreetly. By the time they notice it, I'll be in their pants... hopefully. icon_neutral.gif

Ok I'm kidding! I'm a model gay guy who respects boundaries. *scout salute*

after being in my line of work this long i don't believe in gay and straight anymore. and i don't feel obliged to make "straight" guys comfortable - they've NEVER gone to that trouble for me. in fact, it's straight guys that made life miserable for me. i taunt them quite often. i hit on them too. when they complain i tell them to consider how women feel.

Exactly. My mission in life is not to make cute straight guys feel comfortable. If I like them, I say so. Not that it's really gotten me anywhere.
Oddly enough though, I've known some straight guys miffed if a queer didn't hit on them. Weird.

I am never around cute straight guys, so I have no worries, just older fat straight guys at work. You guys can hit on them all you want I am sure some of them are not as straight as they let on.

    Haha dude go for it.

I mean, I have been in the same situation at parties, and last new years I made out with a straight guy cause he thought I was cool, and I def was hitting on him hard.

But I think my straight boy hook up count is getting too much.

    Oh well.

    hahaha that was really funny.

anyway the fact is that i havent done any different before, I dont care if the guy is straight or not, I hit on him whether he likes it or not. My best friend here in Toronto is a straight guy, he lives with me and he doesnt give shit of how gay I could possibly be anyway thats not his problem lol, and sometimes I even ask him if a guy is hot or not and he actually answers. Same way I give him some advises with girls. Thats the way it should be everywhere.

The last time I mildly entertained such thoughts about so called straight guys

I said the straight boy, was hot and stroked his arm at a party (predominantly gay demographic)

He said, to lay off he was straight. Being a good gay I said fine left him to his own devices. Ditched the party went back to my place

Five minutes later, he shows up at my door begging to be fucked, but says he's straight doesn't want anyone to know

Next morning my friends give me a going over because when asked why he disappeared from the party so suddenly and where did he go because no one gave me a ride home, he told them he had to get out of there because all us fagots hitting on him, made him feel uncomfortable

You're better off not getting involved with them

What I don't understand AMT87 is if the guy was so straight, why couldn't he invest in a dildo and do it himself? Why did he need you to pop his cherry?

Not a chance... he wouldn't bring himself to admit he even had an ass let alone stick anything up it icon_lol.gif

He has some real problems...Goes to any length to defend his sexuality, loads himself up on alcohol just to bring himself to touch another guy

Kind of guy who would soap out his eyes if he caught himself glancing at another guy for a second longer than needed

We-e-e-e-elll, a decade worth of angst and social faux pas in my adolescent years taught me that...

A straight guy might want to be your friend, but that doesn't mean he wants to suck your dick.

The best you can hope for is going down to the pub.

The core of this discussion really has nothing to do with gay guys approaching other guys, straight or gay. It's about a man approaching ANYONE who interests him.

Straights guys will also kick themselves for not being more aggressive with a woman. The straight guys also sweat over when to do a full frontal charge, and when to be more subtle, to use subterfuge and strategy.

The fact is, the best approach is the one that works with the person you're after. The "good gay guy" works for some, not for others.

I think you're being simplistic, and trying to put all your eggs in one basket. Try a more sophisticated & varied approach, suited to the guy you're after. A "one size fits all" approach is likely to produce inferior results compared to one tailored to each situation you encounter.

you know that breeder shit is just as bad as someone who's not gay calling us/you a fag and meaning it in a bad way.

I mean; I''m not GAY; but I still like guys and everything in between but seriously; you've got to accept others beore you accept yourself and shit.

be like water; ever flowing forward, but willing to change paths when needed.

haha. I totally forgot what I was typing.

yeah, anyway. I was just saying how that sounds dumb saying "breeder".

Well Jake it's good to hear you say that!

    If he's in a gay club it's our turf!icon_cool.gif

I think if you do it in a playfully way I don't think any harm is done. Have you ever considered meeting guys at raves?
