HOW DO YOU APPROACH UNDERWEAR PURCHASE AND USE? Do you buy on logic or should underwear say something about you?

So I admit it, I've now got a thing for c-in2 underwear.
I like the great fitting "Grip" line of athletic briefs,
the "Zen" slighter briefs feel great, but their "Prime", "Hand me down" lo no show briefs are pretty hot too. My RJ photographer, KSDusty and I are going to showcase some of them in the next photoshoot.

I wore Tommy Hilfiger action briefs for a number of years, which were nice, but basically the typical brief style, in various colors with a slightly different cut. For me, that was enough... I thought they were very adequate considering their price above such underwear as the dated "Fruit of the Loom" and Haines stuff.

There is a lot more into wearing great underwear and for me it can be more than just comfort and fit. They can make you feel awesome!

So what about you? What underwear brand do you wear? Briefs, boxers or (nothing)? Do you buy on "logic" meaning that extra money on underwear means nothing or do you like to put some "extra" into that underwear purchase?
    Why?

woodsmen saidI wear briefs that opened in the back. So it is like jockstraps. I do not wear them for sexiness sake. It is just that I generate a lot of heat in the pubic area so wearing opened briefs cool me down.

When I read this, all I could hear is, giggles!

My underwear used to say something about me. In fact, it was always gossiping about me to the other clothes. The shirts wouldn't listen---too high-minded---but the pants relished every juicy detail. I had to put a stop to it, of course.

I buy for practicality. Baggy, cool boxers under my cargo pants and shorts in the Florida heat, almost like going commando but with a loose liner against my outer pants. Under tight slacks, dress pants, and for athletic uses I get snug fitted briefs with a pouch (but nothing exaggerated). I never shop fashion, just fit.

When I was single I tried to have my undershorts match my outer shirt color. I thought it made a nice impression as we stripped, often undressing each other. Nowadays I'm mismatched about half the time.

Just remove their tags. That'll shut them up.

I love the pouch in C-in2 Core Lo No Show briefs. It's nice to have something cupping my junk. I am actually wearing a pair right now. However most of my underwear are Calvin Klein Low Rise Briefs. I admit, I am a brand whore. And I wear the low rise because I like the way my jeans sit on my hips where you can see my obliques. And when I don't necessarily feel like being sexy, I go with Calvin's grey briefs with the white band. I think that is a conservative classy look. And if I feel like being a whore, instead of going commando I will occasionally wear boxers. Going commando just chafes too much..

So yeah, I put a lot of thought into my underwear.

I always like being able to purchase meat, motor oil and underwear all at once.

I hate shopping for underwear because the 'fashionable' pairs are terribly expensive. The packets of 3 are so generic. I'm a little old (and out of shape) for wearing much of what is sold in speciality stores and more than a little too cheap for them.

Often I try and find the middle of the road, not the fruit of the loom look but not super expensive either, at a place like TJ Max or one of the other discount places. Last ones I bought were at Macy's and they ended up being so small despite their 'M' size that my partner ended up with them. Time to try again.

Most of what I buy is based on what is practical, I need a lot more support than boxers provide, so I buy boxer briefs and briefs. Some of my choices as late have been intentionally more provocative.

Everything you need in one place including underwear in bulk, while waiting for new tires to be installed on your car and your ink cartridges are refilled. They don't do that for you at Nordstrom.

I have a mix of both. I have simple everyday underwear that I don't pay a lot for and then I have cool underwear mostly from topman that have comic book characters or pictured/patterns on them like super man or spiderman.

I only wear my nicer ones when I'm going out to bars/clubs, going to interviews or going to the gym/swimming.

Slim cut boxers at J Crew. I like hanging free but not bunched up layers of cloth. And the J Crew designs and colors are fun. Dogs. Sharks. Skull and crossbones. Everything you choose says something about you.

I don't think all that much about it.icon_lol.gif When I need new undies I go to the store and buy boxer briefs. My most recent purchase was two pairs of Nautica at BCF for $12.99, and according to the tag the real price was $36. icon_rolleyes.gif

Like eb925guy I've been buying mine at TJ Max. Prior to that it was JC Penney. TJ Max carries overstock from other stores so you get a variety and you can pick up some "fun" designer ones, but not the expensive lines. And the prices are good.

I also discovered that I can go down a size and they do a better job of keeping my junk in place.

" Everything you choose says something about you."

Seeing a man choose comfort and function over style is my favorite measure of his individuality.

Underwear isn't sexy. The man wearing it can be, especially if it doesn't seem like he spends too much time picking out his undies.
