    Or do you like the free will and experience of driving? Do you think self-driving cars will be mainstream?

    i very much like driving, takes very little effort for me, even more fun in the city.

    yes, for commercial routs;
    -say the last mile home from a bus or light rail stop.
    -trash pickup, meter reading.

    I see the problem being, sure it can take you to a street number location, like 8432 Sycamore, or whatever. How is the car going to know where it can park? There are all sorts of peculiarities in how our streets, parking lots, etc work. You'd have to grab the wheel at some point.

    If I drove on the autobahn, no. Stop and go traffic? YES.

    Yeah. Because all self driving cars are required to have a manual override. In other words you can drive it like a normal car too.

    I would wanna have a self-driving car sometimes, like on long strecthes of mostly empty freeway, so I could have my hands free to jerk off while watching gay porn or ..driving and lighting up a bowl and get high as a kite..... u know, stuff like that. Otherwise, I think it's fun to drive and would wanna control the vehicle myself...... perhaps whilst jerking off of course.... and or gettin high/.

    I like driving--sometimes. It really is not as much fun as it used to be and, frankly, has gotten so expensive that I have trouble enjoying a ride just for fun.

    If I could get comfortable with the safety of a self-driving car, yes, I would go for it. They could be a boon for older folks and those who really can't drive. Having a fleet available on demand would be incredible for those who do not want to own a car.

    I already have one.

    But seriously, yes I'd love to have one. And just like taking the street car, I would read a book on my way to my destination or meditate or whatever. I think it's happening quicker than a lot of people know.

    I just got a car for the first time, driving sucks.
    I would prefer a chaufer over a self driving car though.
    I wish a lot of other people had self driving cars though, at least they signal some of the time.

    Yes, absolutely, for commuting and long distance driving. I'd love for my car having to watch out for all those idiots texting, talking on their phone, putting on makeup etc. while "driving"

    Having a mental disorder, I'm terrified of driving, so many rules to try and remember, and there are very scary drivers on the roads.
    So yes I would love one, especially if it can help me.

    I suppose the sad thing about me is that I'm perfectly find driving a train even if it's a scaled down miniature (they run exactly like the full size prototype), but not a car. icon_redface.gif
