I love outdoor camping, and have especially enjoyed it with other gay men, who can be a lot more butch than their stereotype. But Maine is a little far away for me, and I know I could never get my husband interested. And looks like half the campers there are women.

I attended a gay camp in the Washington Cascades that was less structured for activities than this one appears, and I enjoyed it. Plus it was clothing optional, as all the gay camps & campgrounds I've attended have been. Nothing says primitive camping like wearing no clothes. LOL!

Well, this could be something worth looking into, for those with the time who can get to Maine. BTW, there's an RJ Forum topic called "Outdoor Life" that was added a few years ago, specifically for things like camping.

I will consider that for next year. I will be in Washington state that very week for this year.

    Hey Farout,

I'm going to CampCamp this summer.

I'm coming over from Australia for the Gay Games in Cleveland and thought this sounded like a fun week to add on. Be great if you could come.

Email me if you want to discuss some more.

Needs a geezer version. With age appropriate activities; bingo, crossword puzzles, trivial pursuit, etc. And scheduled times for naps.
