One unexpected side effect of coming out is the number of beautiful women who come onto me.
This very attractive woman at work flat out propositioned me a couple weeks ago.
Right this moment a woman sitting across from me at the coffeshop is checking me out and even moved chairs to be closer to me.
I find it hilarious because I used to chase women to try and prove to myself and everyone else that I was straight(ish).

Cougars love me, but they can't have me. Seriously, though, I get a lot of older women flirting with me and it never happened when I was in the closet, it's very interesting to me.

I am as Gay as they come and I still love the company of Beautiful Women.

Don't wanna sleep with them or share a house - but love to walk in with a bombshell on My arm.

Or Sharky - either one works...

Attractive women want us because we're not scamming on them (like our straight counterparts). We show an aloofness that they find very intriguing. We're also holding up better, we work out more, eat right, moisturize, dress better and have better manners than a lot (not saying all) of our straight brothers. And when women date us, they can relax and know there isn't going to be any pressure at the end of an evening - - - where we're wanting and expecting to seal the deal, so to speak. We just thank them, give them a peck on the cheek and head out (and back to our guy friends).

Women are usually very annoying. I only have like 2 female friends. I usually hang out with dudes.

I don't get hit on very often at all but when I do 99% of the time it's by women. Before I was out though 99% of the time it was men hitting on me... Oh the irony icon_cool.gif

LOL! I actually HAVE walked with Sharky - and it is indeed a total treat. Although calling him a bombshell would be a stretch.

But as for women, I'm very old fashioned, trapped in my generation, the way I was raised. There are some things I will never stop doing. I'm as antiquated as these outdated customs are.

I still open a door for a lady, whether building or a car. I get up from the table when a lady approaches, and help her with her chair. And of course always stand when a lady enters the room, to greet her. I automatically doff my hat, and l'll offer her my seat at some function (a lady NEVER stands while a gentleman sits). All the countless little courtesies, that are mostly obsolete today, that younger guys here don't even know about.

That doesn't mean I have the slightest sexual interest in women. But those respectful behaviors were drilled into me by my late parents, whom I swear would come back to haunt me if I didn't follow their teachings to the letter. I'll always be my parents' son, and proud of it. icon_biggrin.gif

The problem is now though if you do those things some women call it sexist or disrespectful to women but if you don't then men are not chivalrous any more which is why I don't bother. I still open doors but I do that for anyone not just women.

I know, I've had a few women scowl at me for opening the door for them. But I also open the door for men, and for my husband, too, if I get there first. And I'm disabled, with a cane!

Yah know, it's also a matter of old-fashioned politeness & manners. Which my late parents also pounded into me as a kid. You are always thoughtful of others. That's what separates gentlemen from... well, something else. At least that's what was driven into me. Maybe today is different, I dunno. icon_confused.gif

If only moar gay men had Cash's attitude! Did some of you guys just have horrible mothers, or something? Why is there this fear/annoyance with women? I can't think of anything more douchy than a bunch of gay men who are sexist against women.

My 2 female friends are tomboys. Perhaps I just like masculine energy.

Every time I wonder if I could swing the other way, all it takes is a passing encounter with a vagina to send me running back to dick. That thing is the most revolting sight known to man. Oh my god, I'm getting nauseated, I've got to stop.

Women hit on gay men for the same reason they hit on married men,

    1) They are 'safe'.

    2) They are way of affirming to themselves how attractive they are. Are they hot enough to tempt someone who is unattainable?

Apparently that's the difference between alpha males and beta males. The beta male is desperate to be a "nice guy" to win a girl's love, women despise these type of males and walk all over them, moving on to the next victim when they have bled him dry financially and emotionally. Where as the alpha male is unmoved by a woman's emotional manipulation which makes the woman furious and crazy for him at the same time because he is powerful.

Lesson: don't be a Beta Male.

    icon_lol.gif

That may be a straight guy model. Let's bring it over to the gay side.

I'm gay, and an Alpha male. Who chooses not to steamroller other guys. But some do that.

So please tell us more about Alpha gays.

How about wymmin who believe all men are potential rapists, all women are really lesbians and "we need to SMASH THE PATRIARCHY!!!"

I know a lot of women and I've never once heard them say that all men are potential rapists. I've only heard kiwi_lifter say that.

    Coincidence??? I think not.icon_lol.gif

That's an interesting concept. I've thought many times, that when some gay guys are very strictly top or bottom, that it has more to do with their preferred relationship role. Some guys like to chase, some like to be chased. Or maybe one likes to feel taken care of and one likes prefers to take care of.

That's a predictable response from women. They only want men who are not attracted to them.
