I have the same issue. the curse of the super high metab. (sorry bad speller) I know that duck is high in protein and that you should eat something this like a protein shake directly after your workout. Also keep you cardio a bit on the low side since you don't want to burn off too many Calories. I think the theory is that good weight gain is about 2-4 lbs. a week. good luck.

I'm doing a weight gain right now and have gained about 15pds in 5 weeks, and need to slow it down a bit to 1 pd a week. The thing that did it for me this time, when it has been unsuccessful in the past, is that I could never get enough good clean calories in me. I have just discovered smoothies and have one when I get up and one when I go to bed. I put things in that I hate, and are hard to get down when cooked, like oatmeal. In one smoothie I’ll put in a cup of cottage cheese/or egg white for protein, one cup of oatmeal for carb, some fruit, flax oil, yogurt, orange juice, soy milk for a total of about 750 cal and 1 litre of liquid. It’s really the only thing I have changed from past weight gain attempts …. Maybe you could try them?

any specific products you can recomend?

I have a complex glucose powder for drinks I got off ebay. It's tasteless so I thought I'd mix in something else as well. Is mixing different products ok?

Try changing your routine. Go with low reps (6 max.)
and high weight. And just do the compound excercises like flat bench, squats, and barbell curls. I added 5 lbs. in 8 weeks doing this. Just be careful to not over train yourself. A good indicator of over traning is if you are sore more than two days after a workout.

    Happy workouts
