The other day we went out to the bar, and on the way home I ask her if there was one thing that she thought she knew about me, but wasn't really sure. Then before she answered, I just said it. And by that time we were pulling into a restaurant to meet some family and friends, so we didn't get to talk much! But at the restaurant I got really drunk, so the ride home was somewhat blurry. I do remember her telling me she will always love me, so that is a plus haha. But she left town for the weekend so I haven't spoken with her since, and when I am not drunk...

Her telling you she'll always love you seems to be a good sign. icon_smile.gif Congrats!

As you continue your path to coming out to other people, you'll soon realize how little others actually care about your sexuality. And you'll find out who your real friends are.

PS. Life is always going to have good times and bad times. Getting drunk accentuates both sides, making the good times seem awesome and the bad times seem unbearable, and it blurs the line between the two. Having recently quit drinking, my mind is finally clear enough to see that for what it is.

    Congratulations
-sure it's fine, unless she had hopes for more from you and now she has to deal with what she'll assume is the ultimate rejection.

    Who's next?

-find it amusing that your best friend is a girl, yet you believe no one knows you're gay.

Yeah, call her..."hey, we still cool?"

Probably isn't any big deal..but if it bothers you, have a serious conversation with her and be real about it... including making sure you recall it later...haha.
