Depends on what kind it is. If they're non-poisonous and don't bite, I leave them alone so the geckos have something to eat.

If it's a bug that's easy to catch then I will not kill it. If its a fly or hornet I have an empty bottle that i keep under under my coffee table to smack them with because I can't deal with their buzzing but also when it's hot I do need the windows open.

If humans weren't meant to step on them, then bugs wouldn't make such a delightful squish* when you do.

*Or crunch, as with palmetto bugs.

I spend summers at my ranch, surrounded by woods. There are LOTS of flies. The only thing I've found that works well (other than nasty chemical sprays) is the Cluster Buster:

I live in Manhattan - if it doesn't pay rent it gets exterminated.

If they cause me no harm I cause them no harm. Did this for a dragon fly yesterday in fact. I just cup them in my hand and help them outside. However, mosquitos and cockroaches don't get out alive. Spiders have recently been added to the kill list. After you get bit by a brown recluse, your opinion of spiders suddenly changes. icon_evil.gif

depends on the bug.. usually just mosquitos and spiders that get killed. Most everything else will get captured and released. Luckily I don't have much of a pest problem.

yeah, i don't even have flies or mosquitos here. sometimes the odd moth gets in the house at night but i think it's too dry for most insects.

Mosquitos or roaches, I kill. Any other insect I'll catch with a disposable plastic cup and let it outside. Sounds like insect discrimination doesn't it?

I have to save all the animals! I feel so bad if they die inside. Besides, why would I kill a perfectly good bug if something else is going to eat it outside.

GL bug hope you make it just gtfo of my house! <3 icon_lol.gif

Why would you kill a ladybug??? Just throw it outside. I do that with most insects in my house , except for flies, mosquitoes and some spiders, and just because there is no way to catch them.
