Through choice I don't caffiene, unless it's in green tea and some other drinks. The issue is with preworkout they all seem to contain this as an energy boost.
Is there any out there with the other benefits to help muscle growth, such as the other supplements?
Is it other BCAA range I need to concentrate on?

The caffeine in most pre-workouts is not the same as the caffeine in coffee. Pre-workouts contain synthetic or designer caffeine. Where coffee caffeine can last 5-10 hours, designer caffeine last only 1-2 hours and usually do not cause a crash afterwards. There are pre-workouts that are not stimulating.

Other benefits of a pre-workout include focus and muscle pump.

if you are looking for a complete BCAA profile, an intra-workout formula is suggested. Usually intra-workouts are just BCAA's.

Good luck and don't give up.

umm... you're ok putting pre-workout mix in your body but not caffeine? i'd think the amount of crack you're smoking to come to that conclusion would be enough energy to get you thru any day

    Yeah. This is on point.

Pre-workouts are a serious health concern; much more dangerous than caffiene alone. I've seen 18 year olds with hypertension and tachycardia from pre-workouts. They are BAD for you.

Much better to just have a cup of coffee.

The FDA has moved to more closely regulate pre-workout stuff. Some of those formulations are killing kids.

    Well he's 26 so, he's not a kid ;)

    Preworkout is mostly useless imo.

The main benefit is the kick from the energy.. and even that is hit or miss with most people.

Yeah, the energy hit doesn't really hit me at all.

Maybe it's not BCAA's I'm thinking of, but don't some decent PRE's contain stuff that helps the developement of muscles?
