We have to ban together to stop this dangerous trend in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Exactly. I'd say that you spoke to the nicer people. I would've just hung up. Nothing personal icon_biggrin.gif

    LOL Too funny!

I actually haven't grocery shopped in a long while. But, it does sound like you talked to the people who were nice enough to think of an excuse before hanging up. That's polite phone etiquette MA style.

Honestly I'm surprised people were that nice to you. People on my local Boston neighborhood mailing list would probably have your head. The topic of unsolicited phone calls has come up several times on this list and I can't repeat the names that were used to describe the solicitors. Sorry, unsolicited phone calls aren't welcome in these parts...

But we get phone numbers randomly and "Do not call" list don't apply to us because were not selling anything just looking for opinions, is that so hard to ask. Then, when the survey is finished there's no need to for you to be called again.

Trust and believe I shop and I eat. I just spent a good amount of money yesterday to prove it. As far as telephone surveys go......Im not really a fan. I might not answer the survey either.

I think that people here have received too many unsolicited phone calls that they have reached their limit. It doesn't really matter if you're just asking for opinions. They'll group you with the other ones.

Well, if they don't eat and they die off, it'll just decrease the surplus population, which is a good thing, there are too many people in this country anyway. That will help shorten the lines in the grocery stores for the people who do shop.

As far as answering surveys goes, it really depends on my mood at the time. Sometimes I will participate, sometimes I won't, but I just say I'm busy.
