    Hey Fellas,

I will be going to the Copenhagen to Stockholm Cruise this July (July 20 - 27) and currently seeking a roommate for non-smoking stateroom in the Category L. The stateroom is already reserved, since I initially booked it for me and my friend, however, my friend won't be able to go on the cruise due to urgent personal commitments. The cost of this stateroom for double occupancy is $1099/person plus taxes, gratuities and port charges with meals, entertainment and various amenities (fitness centers, pools, etc.) being included in the cost. However, I would be willing to pay for my roommate's cruise booking share and welcome my roommate at no additional charge! So, the only thing that my roommate would need to pay for is the flight to and from the cruise terminal, and for certain excursions if he chooses to go on any of them.

The ports of call will include: Copenhagen, Oslo, Gothenburg, Warnemunde, Tallin, Helsinki and Stockholm. Please visit http://atlantisevents.com/Copenhagen-to-Stockholm.../34... for more detailed information.

If you would be interested in going on this cruise and are seeking a roommate, please feel free to send me a personal message. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!

Quit spamming the forums with duplicate posts. If no one replied, then no one is going. icon_rolleyes.gif

I know, right? It would have been more acceptable to bump his original thread, instead of creating a new one every 5 - 10 minutes.

If you don't want to read, don't read iticon_exclaim.gif It's not a spam, it's a real announcement. And if somebody has not replied yet, that does not mean that nobody is interested.

In response to your question why this announcement is on different forums is because the topic of this announcement can be related to different subject areas (i.e. travel, entertainment, etc.). Plus, visitors of this website might visit different forums, so it does help to diversify the posting.

Lastly, if you are not interested, simply don't reply. It's that easy. If I'm not interested in something, I don't reply.

All Things Gay is more like a general category, while Travel, Arts/Entertainment, Sailing are more subject-specific categories. I mean, if All Things Gay is the most popular category that visitors of this website view, then of course, I wouldn't bother wasting my time and reposting my announcement to other less popular categories or subcategories. I would still want to leave it on Travel, since it would probably be the category that would most closely match the topic of discussion.

LOL. But you didn't post in Travel. You posted ALL of them in ATG. When you create a new thread, you have to manually select the sub-forum where you want it to appear. The forum software doesn't take into consideration the sub-forum that you're currently viewing.

    To YourName2000,

It wouldn't be a problem for me to delete the 4 posts to which you're referring...

In terms of the standards of this forum, I didn't post anything offensive and out of ordinary. I've looked at other forum posts on this site previously which had much more offensive comments and posts.

The problem is that some people are not getting the message across correctly or are just mad about themselves. There is no point in being rude just because there is an announcement that is being posted on different forums.

It would really help if people start being more polite and collaborative.

Look, dear lad, sometimes you can be the greatest thing next to Master Of The Universe, and sometimes you say things that are a little jaw droppingly opposite. I'm pointing it out, because I don't think the OP deserved that. That's it, so sue me.

I dont know if it's just me but those places that the cruise ship will be visiting
Don't sound very appealing. Id rather visit the greek islands or southern italy.

OP, if no one has responded by now, then no one is interested. Flight prices to Europe rises as the date of embarkation gets closer. Also, I don't understand why you need a roommate if you are willing to pay for the double occupancy. I would just go solo.

I think there is another cruise that's going to Italy and Greece in early August, and I would have chosen it if it didn't conflict with my other event that requires my presence.

I agree visiting Italy or Greece would be much more appealing, because they are located more to the south. Although I've heard from some people that this Baltic cruise is also a good one. I don't know... I think the best way to find out is to see it... But thanks for your input, venue35!
