Awesome day out there, the unofficial "start of the summer", one of my favorite weekends of the year. Pool time, warm weather, great time of year.

Spending some time with family today and enjoying all.
What is everybody doing with this Memorial Holiday?
(and if in another country, what's up today)?

I'm going to go out and find someone to be rude to.

Then barbequeing at my parents' house.

No major plans. Just catching up on some work I've been putting off.

Since it is Memorial Day—a special thanks to all the veterans and active duty members for their service.

You should have driven to New Orleans and met up with your favorite foe, Scruffypup since you and him love being rude to each other on-line. It would be hilarious to see you two in person arguing with each othericon_lol.gif

I am just going to sit back and relax on Memorial Day. It is finally starting to warm up here in the Northeast, it can't come soon enough.

    Back where
I come from, we have men who are called
heroes. Once a year, they take their
fortitude out of mothballs and parade it
down the main street of the city. And they
have no more courage than you have. But!
They have one thing that you haven't got!
    A medal!

    And some of them
    something more.
    A tombstone!
