So I just switched from Time Warner Cable to Verizon FIOS about a month ago. Which is totally awesome by the way.

I've never had a gay interest channel before, and I've been trying to watch Logo. Mostly, I've scoped it out late at night, and haven't really been impressed so far. Can anyone recommend something worth DVRing?

We've had LOGO about 8 months, when we switched from cable to satellite. I'm not terribly impressed with LOGO, either. Queer as Folk and The Big Gay Sketch Show interested me, until I was watching episodes for the fifth time.

Every now & then a good gay-themed movie will air, but a lot of their programming is pretty lame, at least for me. And while I understand their need to reach the lesbian audience, I really can't get into shows like The L Word. 365Gay News can be informative, but it doesn't update that often.

Overall I'm glad I receive LOGO, but I'm glad I've also got a couple of hundred other channels to watch.

From what I've noticed they really butcher movies. I understand that some content should be "vanilla" at certain times. But, they really do a hack job on lots of films. It's like a gay family friendly channel.

I used to housesit for someone that had Logo. It was about as entertaining as QVC. So I watched bits of things on YouTube. Barf.

Haha. So basically, the answer is no...

I never saw past the first season of L Word, but I kind of meant original content.

Haha, yeah I agree. The only thing worth watching if you already haven't got the DVDs or seen them a hundred times is Queer as Folk and the occasional good movie.

There are a couple of travel shows I watch, but mainly to look at the presenters...Charlie David on "Bump" and Marc Savoia on "RoundTrip Ticket" are both yummy.

There was a reality show on called "Open Bar" that was pretty good (too bad the bar failed) - the bar owner was yummy

^^^ styrgan I think he's wearing your shirt!

And I will occasionally watch "U.S. of ANT" when it's on.

Otherwise, it's uh, yeah, pretty darned .... uninteresting.

I've seen the commercials. Doesn't really look like it's my thing. But I will give it a try.

Me, too! He was supposed to be the sometimes bad guy, the heartless, self-absorbed hedonist. But he always came through in a pinch, always the "Deus ex machina" guy who rescued the other characters when they got into trouble.

I really like Logo. I love the documentaries they show about important gay figures. I saw one on Paradise garage and it was heart-breaking and inspirational! It's good to watch movies with gay characters and not all these straight ones all the time.

I have the say a lot of these movies the acting isn’t too good.

It’s a whole lot better than the out network on Canadian T.V except there out channel has the naked news. Smart guys with big dicks what’s not to like lol

I like the music video show "New Now Next". They usually play some great music that you won't see or hear on Vh1 or MTV.

The top 10 countdown to me is trash. Sterotypical "gay" videos usually heavy handed on sexual innuendo and mediocre artists.....

    Just my 2 cents.

The programming line-up and series/movie censoring drives me nuts. I've seen movies on TNT previously aired on LOGO that didn't bleep the same words. Is there a gay audience that can't bear the word "dick"? Yecchhh.

It is sad that some of the best programming on Logo is not heavily promoted or repeated. They had a fascinating special on once about gay and lesbian senior citizens, and another about the gay rodeo circuit. Howevver, most of what they have are reruns of some inane British show called Bad Girls.
