I went camping the whole weekend with some friends and we all went biking both Saturday and Sunday morning. Then in the afternoon we enjoyed some nude beach volleyball at Mazo beach. It's the only nude beach in Wisconsin. Then lots of beer and sex. icon_smile.gif Fun times! The weather was really warm and nice for a great camping weekend.

Got pretty ill late the week before, spent Sunday and Memorial Day Monday mostly in bed, trying to resist my husband's attempts to take me to the ER. Did go to see our own doctor on Tuesday, he found a number of things wrong with me, there may be more, I may yet be seeing the hospital if these meds don't work soon. Still rather shaky. Ah well, you can't always have every holiday like you'd want. icon_sad.gif

Hope you get well soon. icon_neutral.gif

I spent my long weekend in Las Vegas with 4 friends. We mostly tried different food and shopped.

I hated my life while I ruined the organization of a 5K run/walk in honor of Americans veterans.

I had work obligations each day of the weekend but also managed to fit in a 6 mile run on Saturday, a 14 mile run on Sunday, and doing laundry and paying bills on Monday.

    - Went Clubbing at Club Ripples in Long Beach on Sat, and went to Boy Bar/Drag Show on Sunday in Velvet OC. (I had a couple of older guys hit on me Lol). I went to a BBQ on MOnday at my sister's house and went shopping for new undies at Macys.

I went with my older brother and mother and cleaned off the graves of my late grandmothers, grandfather who served some time as a war veteran, and my oldest brother and sat a rose on each of their tombstones. I then spent some time at a cousin's house planning this fish fry reunion in July

Well Trolli, it was the thought that counts icon_biggrin.gif I mean it, you thought about the veterans on Memorial Day, which too often many people don't.

Get well soon and please stop being stubborn when it comes to see a doctor or go to the ER. I have relatives that have died young (in their mid 50s) because they don't do check ups regularly or go the hospital when needed and when they finally go is too late.

Thanks, and to the others who commented here. Unfortunately I got sick just before the long weekend, didn't realize it was gonna get worse or I might have tried to see my doctor Friday.

I HATE ERs, horrible experiences. I was holding out for when I could see my own doctor again on Tuesday, which I did. But I would have taken the ER route if things had turned really bad. And I do see a doctor regularly, maybe too regularly. I worry I might become a hypochondriac like my late Mother (can one be a hypochondriac about being a hypochondriac? I better not dwell on it).

But anyway, truth is I usually don't do anything interesting on these kinds of holidays, unless friends invite us to something. Being both retired we make our own schedules, so we really didn't miss much by my being in bed over the holiday, a BBQ & pool invite is about it.
