'Know and Tell' will be a free app that "encourages people to get tested for HIV, it enables them to share their test results with sexual partners. The app will launch this summer, also allows users to register for health related services, make an appointment, learn their test results, and obtain referrals - all from the convenience of their smart phones."

(from the Vanguard newsletter, Summer 2014, a publication of the LA LGBT Center)

Of course they do. There always has been BB and the majority don't use condoms on a regular basis as it is. The whole "just wear a condom" mantra just isn't working, and never has with 40K-50K new HIV cases every year.

I don't condone or promote BB sex....it exists whether you like it or not. I would hope this app greatly encourages people to use condoms especially if the so called Neg guy hasn't been tested in awhile. Just as important it encourages people to get tested. Too many people just don't know.

How about 30 years too late? Ironic that only now with more effective PrEP, they are talking about an anal condom. As if they didn't know already that they were breaking more often with anal sex. There was no incentive, they had the only 'game' in town, and everyone was told to use condoms.
