Based on RPI (according to Realtimerpi.com) following are tonight's top MEN's College Hoops Games:
1.) #5)Connecticut (1-1,12-1, #8 RPI) @ #25)West Virginia (1-0,11-2,#7 RPI) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HEREShould be a WAR in Morgantown tonight. Huggin's teams always play tough defense and this year's version is no exception.
2.) Ohio State (1-1,10-2, 11) @ #

Michigan State (2-0,11-2,6) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HERESpartans and Badgers are alone atop the Big 10 already and a win at home tonight for MSU should solidify their position as the team to beat in the conference.
3.) Miami(OH) (7-4,9) @ Dayton (13-1,44) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HEREThe Red Hawks have been thumped badly @ Pitt and @ WVU, but those are "good losses" for their RPI - which is amazily Top 10 Right now. They also have a nice win at Temple. Dayton has been flying (pun intended) under the radar. Their lone loss was at Creighton and they have an impressive win @ Marquette. Should be a great game tonight....
4.) #7)Texas (11-2,20) @ Arkansas (11-1,66) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HEREThis will be a WAR of old Southwest Conference Teams. The Longhorns have only lost to Notre Dame and Michigan State. Razorbacks shocked Oklahoma after playing an uninspired non-con schedule including a loss @ Missouri State. They are probably the SEC West favorite right now. Great tuneup for both teams before they start conference play this weekend.
5.) Illinois State (3-0,14-0,33) @ Bradley (3-0,9-5,63) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HEREEarly Season battle for 1st Place in the Missouri Valley Conference - the 8th best conference in MBB right now. Winner of this game will be alone at the top and set themselves as the team to beat in the MVC this year. I never thought I'd say "Wish I was in Peoria", but that statement would apply tonight....This will be a great game.
6.) Siena (10-4,43) @ Kansas (10-3,73) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HEREJayhawks coming off a nice win over Tennessee should win this one and be ready to defend their Big 12 crown.
7.) #1

Villanova (0-1,12-2,23) @ Seton Hall (0-2,9-5,106) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HEREWildcats need this BEast road win to avoid starting conference play 0-2. The Pirates had a decent non-con schedule including nice wins over USC and @ VaTech, but they've been beaten badly in their two opening BEast games - including a blowout loss to West Virginia at home their last time out. A 3rd straight blowout loss in conference will signal a LONNNGGGG year for SHU.
8.) Louisiana State (12-1,11

@ Utah (9-5,29) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HERETwo different non-con approaches. LSU has rolled over lesser opponents - with their only quality win at home over Washington State. Utah opened up the season by losing to Southwest Baptist (YIKES!) and has quality losses to Cal and Oklahoma, but they seem to have righted the ship with good wins over Gonzaga and Wyoming their last 2 games....Utes are tough at home. Should find out alot about the young Tigers in this one.
9.) #14)Purdue (0-1,11-3,75) @ Penn State (1-1,12-3,9

-
ITALIC TEXT GOES HEREBoilers have had a week to stew over their disappointing Big10 opening loss at home to the Illini - which is not good news for the Nittany Lions. Penn State played Wisconsin tough on the road their last time out after opening with a good home win over an improved Northwestern team. A win here would indicate they won't finish in the Big10 cellar once again.
10.) Texas-El Paso (8-5,83) @ New Mexico (9-6,93) -
ITALIC TEXT GOES HEREBoth these teams have had uneven pre-con seasons. Miners had a bad loss @ Santa Clara last week. Lobos have a home loss to Central Florida, but the did sweep in-state rival New Mexico State and gave Mountain West favorite UNLV a good battle last time out. Lobos are always tough at home and Steve Alford seems to be settling in at Albuquerque.
