    what to expect
i assume you have had an elevated psa test. No worries it can be elevated for many reasons, even bike riding. The biopsy is an office procedure. Takes like 20 minutes and you walk out. Your seamen will be RED for about 2-3 weeks. Proper attitude is so essential on all this but not necessary painful.

    what they do:
you will not thank him when its done. you lie on your side and the doc inserts a device that takes a tissue sample. The feel and sounds like a staple gun. He will use an ultra sound to verify position of the sample. He will take like 5-8 samples. Again its all about attitude not so much pain.
