Is the likelihood of contracting hiv from getting a little pre-cum in your mouth when performing oral sex high.

As today I did a bit of oral but got a bit of pre-cum in my mouth. Just worried that I may catch hiv

It's much lower risk than anal or vaginal sex, but still get tested.

First, good for you for trying to employ safe sex practices.

Paul is correct that the likelihood is very low for HIV transmission in the manner you have described.

You should definitely get tested for your own piece of mind. Getting tested is the responsible thing to do, and you sound like a responsible guy.

There's always herpes, gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, etc. HIV isn't the only thing you should protect yourself from. icon_rolleyes.gif

When were you tested last? Any sexually active Gay man should be tested 3-4 times a year.

You could be positive, and not from that episode.
