I few years back I developed a locked shoulder condition. The MRI showed that the rotator was ok, that the muscle around my should was in good shape, the problem is arthritis and lack of cartilage around the ball joint. I could have ball joint surgery or just work on stretching the shoulder out.

I do stretching at the gym, have gone to physical therapy, and acupuncture. All have kept the shoulder from getting worst, but still not able to get my arm totally over my head.

Anyone have or had a similar problem and been able to correct it without surgery? if so what routine did you use to correct this?
