I never really cared for her untill her big breakdown scene when she was losing to Obama. And even then it was because she was desperate to win.
    I just don't know...Cher likes her so that's a plus i guessicon_rolleyes.gif

It's so easy to make snap judgements about someone from a 10 second video clip. She snapped at this moron in the Congo. It was said during an 11 day trip through some pretty savage parts of Africa and she had dealt with a lot of ignorance and sexism along the way. The man she snapped at said: "We've all heard about the Chinese contracts in this country. The interference is from the World Bank against this contract. What does Mr Clinton think through the mouth of Mrs Clinton and what does Mr Mutombo think on this situation? Her whole life, she's had to endure people seeing her as "Mr. Clinton's wife" instead of an individual. Considering her title and long career path, it's easy to see how a person would eventually snap. I personally think she had every right to get angry. I bet no one has ever asked Bill what his wife thoughts were about running the country when he was president.

^A person in her position, especially as the Secretary of State of the United States, should practice a bit more restraint and diplomacy. The public stage is no place for her to work out her insecurities.

    Not bitchy at all.
She was layin the law down and tellin that guy what was up.
Had a man done what she had done no one would considered him "bitchy."

I feel she had every right to react the way she did. It's insulting to be asked what ur husband thinks.... it doesn't matter, I think she was perfectly within reason reacting that way.

Uhhh, long story, but Hillary was already established as a lawyer when she met Bill. He was working his way through college as a gas station attendant. There used to be a huge joke about Hillary running the country, and Bill was just her puppet on a string. Of course, it wasn't really much of a joke. It was largely true. icon_wink.gif

There was also MANY rumors that Bill is gay and Hillary is lesbian. It wouldn't surprise me if that were the case. After all, she didn't have much to comment on when Bill got his dick sucked. I personally think that was just a scam to "prove" his straightness in light of the rumors.

No matter what position you attain in life, you'll always be human. And honestly, I think she had every right to put the guy in his place. A man would never be expected to tolerate such an insult so why should she have to sit there and take it. I bet you no one else will bother her with that question!

I am not mean. I see it for what it is. She has a VERY high IQ and is pulling a sympathy card here with her fall, bill and her once financial issues. Today's net worth is 50 million. A lot gained in 10 years.....HMMMMMM I KNOW THISicon_confused.gif

"I cannot speak for either Mr. Clinton or Mr. Mutombo" would have sufficed. The guy wasn't insulting her.

In her interview with Terry Gross today (Thursday), she really resisted (and got testy) answering the question of whether she once opposed gay marriage, and only said she was in favor of it after it would no longer be politically courageous to be in favor of it. She basically refused to answer (just like the skilled politician she is), Terry Gross kept asking the question, rephrasing it several times, Hillary getting annoyed but refusing to give an answer, until finally Terry Gross won out.

I don't want a beer with Hillary but I'd rather hire her for the job of president than any of the obvious Republicans.
