Same silly old premise of gov't is god, and should have all money and power. Mine is different:

Good. Let us keep a tad more of what we earn. "Pay for it" by reductions in spending. With over a trillion dollars spent each year, there's certainly places that could easily handle reductions. I'd start with congressional perks and pensions. Which of course is a fantasy that will never happen.

What about using the money to pay for our infrastructure before giving corporations more money? We have roads and bridges that are in dangerous condition.

that's completely false, the vast majority of suspect bridges are in 3 states: Iowa, Kansas and the other I forget, and carry very little traffic

most of the nation's infrastructure is in pretty good shape - yeah some old water and gas lines are sketchy and LaGuardia Airport sucks, but the media reports are mostly hype and pleas for contractor work

Mostly untrue. Although they are guilty of not resisting spending anywhere near enough out of fear for their own careers. It's the liberal view that a country can borrow and print money and somehow prosper as a result, and that is by far the democrat MO. Certainly way too many republicans are guilty of it, unfortunately. Hopefully, I won't live to see a financial collapse from too much debt.
