    Hi Guys:

I was wondering if anyone of you has Ooma Telo phone service using your internet through your phone. I am currently paying $45.00 a month through Comcast. I make a couple of long distance calls in the USA and some international to New Zealand. I was wondering how your experiences are, clarity of line, etc.

    Thanks-

I don't use Ooma Telo but I am using a voice over ip phone service, voipo.com. I started researching voice over ip when I realized that my router is always on, which is all you need. I was paying AT&T at least $30 a month and rarely used the phone. You also need an available jack on your router, mine has 4 and only 1 was in use, by my computer. I did some research and voipo.com got the best reviews at that time. The downside is that you have to prepay for 2 years, but so far I'm a happy camper and plan on renewing next year. Voipo has a great web page for your phone number where you can control everything and see all of your calls, incoming and outgoing. I love using it to give telemarketers a busy signal and keep them busy calling me.
