I Confess To My Boyfriend, And He Takes It Well

My boyfriend and I went antiquing last month where he acquired a delightful set of wooden coasters, for us to use while graciously hosting our many tea parties. Unfortunately I had forgotten about them days later and used our old cork ones out of habit while having an authentic Irish coffee by myself on the hand-restored terrazzo patio of our villa.

How embarrassing! Those coasters, which I had so callously and unintentionally snubbed, probably once belonged to someone who has since passed away. I was terrified that my dear boyfriend will lose his temper upon finding out and strike me with his belt as he does sometimes (totally justified, since he looked so hard to find those coasters); hence I couldn't bring myself to tell him until 3 weeks later, when the pain of lying to him was too much to take.

    Surprisingly he took it well.

No. It's a poorly written and unfunny attempt to parody another thread I started here myself. About breaking 2 of my husband's quiche dishes and being upset about it, not knowing how much they might mean to him. Some guys are just mean & cruel.

You just lost your Gay Card. Seriously? You don't know? I presume your reply is also a joke, like the OP's. But in better taste, and funnier.

I love how you're actually directing your post at Art Deco. No married man has the time to talk about quiche dishes and explain their significance as many times as he did hahaha

Yeah, and it's kinda sad/funny to see, yet very few members call him out on it (surprising cuz they're so vicious to others). Think it's cuz he's part of the "old guard" lol.
