Cardio

    Hi

    I'm cutting atm, and I am looking into adding on more cardio into my routine. My current workout is 5 days of weight lifting per week for around 40 min session, and 1 separate day for cardio 20 min.

    What do you guys usually do?

    I do 2 days weightlifting, 1 day bodyweight conditioning, and 2 days cardio (which is bike riding, parkour training, and just goofing off).

    I run for a little over 25 minutes five to seven days a week. And ten minutes of that is up hill/stairs.

    But leaning out is less about cardio and more about nutrition.

    I'd focus less on cardio and more on keeping track of every calorie and carb for a week--you'll be surprised. There are some great free aps for this. I use Lifesum and MyFitnessPal. Once I started tracking every single calorie I was putting into my body I was shocked that I was going WELL over the amount I thought I was getting. Once I noticed that and kept under that threshold, the body fat came off quick. It really is more about nutrition and less about cardio.
