He passed away a day or two ago...
He was so sweet and friendly to me, a Real man, and a valued RJ member.
Goodbye Darling, we'll all miss you...

Rhett, we've been good friends for a number of years, and I cried long and hard this morning when I found out what happened from your Great Love, a kind and warm, compassionate man.

I am so so GLAD he and Rhett found each other and that Rhett got to experience such deep and abiding, romantic, powerful love.

Rhett, you were one of the best things ever about RJ.

    I love you, Mr.

This is terribly sad. I've exchanged emails with him several times. Do we know the cause?

^^^^^Just voted. A great guy. Inspirational and kind to all the younger guys who talked with him on line and in life regarding fitness. What he wrote that is quoted above about the death of someone is poignant. My condolences to his family and friends.

    THIS, above all, THIS.

    http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/3607172/

"I've been absent for a while.

I've been focusing on my career.

And now, with a great career, a life measured by friends and the success of my clients, I get to add the one man for whom I hope to bring all the joy possible.

Dating since October. Got serious at Thanksgiving. Got REAL at Christmas.

He's brilliant, articulate, handsome as fucking all get out, built, brainy and (oh thank God) grown up.

He's a reserved and private guy, so I'll simply let this key moment sum it up:
We're snuggled in bed on Christmas Eve and he pulls me up close, hugs me very tight and in a deep, quite voice softly says "I don't say this lightly: Truly, I love you."

Merry Christmas, guys. Here's to ringing in a New Year that, if it is even one billionth as remarkable as 2013, shall be a magical year, indeed.

    xo
    r."

    I can't read that tiny print^

"We witness each other's lives. Some remember and others are remembered - all are with us in the stories we tell and the integrity we build as a result of having been influenced for the better.
Your separation is a deeply personal loss that resonates in ways few of us know. You and he shared the very source and hour and so the witnessing was a way of living out more than just your own life.
Talk of him. Define him to others and give him his identity unique to his life. And know that he bore witness well. Honor what he knew and talk to him every day as you grieve, as you heal, as you live .
My every comforting thought and deepest condolences.
    Peace"
    -Musclecomeback

None of us are guaranteed a tomorrow. Live every day as if it is your last... Rest in peace, big guy.

That is a very cruel turn of events to have happen after he turned his fitness around, and only 55 as well.

Yes. Thanks. They think it was a massive cardiac incident or stroke. Rhett was being Rhett. He was always helping people, and someone they knew had to go to a hospital for an appointment, and he didn't like the idea of him/her driving there or going alone, so he went out to pick that person up and...

My apologies, I see his last name is Wickham, not Wickman. One article listed it as Hackman. The articles say he was wearing his selt belt, and the cause of the accident is under investigation. His SUV jumped the guardrail and flipped over on the other lane. No one else was hurt. This is so very sad. I hope they conclusively determine the cause.

He had one of the most impressive transformations I've ever seen on the site. I hope his time here has and continues to inspire others.
