Well more from the Palin govenor... I thought the days of my skin "crawling" listening to her right winged slanted views would be over with the election and her (hopefully permanent) return to Alaska.

In a new interview by NBC she talks about her treatment during the election, her interview by Katie and how she got picked apart while others like "Caroline Kennedy" might get a "pass" (didn't know Caroline ran for VP). Some of her comments were over the top at best.

Maybe this will be the last interview involving the election from this woman.
    Its 2009, its over.

I was pretty taken a back by her comments also. I found myself think did she watch the interview she did with Katie those weren't hard questions, they were pretty routine and she tripped herself up.

As far as Caroline getting a free pass are you kidding. Gov. Sarah Palin was running for the second higesat office in the land and she thought she was going to get a free pass and if her qualifications were not going to come into question than she was really out of her depth.

Senator hmmmmm Vice President you do the math. Perhaps if the Republican party had not shielded her so much and if she when ever she talked sometime you just sat there literally shaken to core by what you just heard she may have faired better.

Let Obama get into office a make a lot mis-steps the media will eat him a live as they should. If you are not qualified then you sould not be in office.

She's not going any where. We will see her again in 2012. I hope she is more polished and prepared. She was not ready for the national stage.

I have the same visceral reaction to Palin that you do HndsmKansan. There is something about her that just makes my skin crawl. I really don't understand why people would seriously consider her for any political position, let alone VP or President of the U.S.

I thought we would hear the last of her after the elections, but apparently she still has many supporters. I am really trying to give her a fair shake by learning more about her, but the more I learn the less I like.

I do realize that she is attractive and seems to have a warm personality, but these qualities are not enough for me to vote for her. I still don't see anything in her comments or history that qualifies her for a high level political position. Perhaps by 2012 she will hone all of this, because she seems to be here for the long haul. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I thought I killed her. I want to know who dug her up. Those pesky Right Wing Noe Cons. What are they trying to gain by putting her in front of the camera. Have they not figured out that she is dumber than a box of rocks.

She was on his VP Search committee
She is an Attorney a member of the NY and Wash DC Bar
Worked in the NYC Dept of Education from 2002-2004 at the Office of Strategic Partnerships to find needed funds for the School System at an annual salary of $1 a year
    Works Published

Palin is beyond being an idiot. Even the NY Times criticized Caroline Kennedy for the Senatorial appointment. Oh how the loathesome right conveniently ignores that tidbit.

Lots of people out there like and get Sarah Palin's appeal. She didn't draw the kind of crowds she did because she is loathed by the masses. Granted, those that don't like her are pretty vehement about it, but she still has millions of supporters and I don't see that changing and therefor, like it or not, she will continue to be part of the American political landscape.

I hope she stays out there, and I hope she gets picked to be the GOP nominee next time. It just helps the Democrats and thinking population.

Unfortunately the appeal is from the right wing. The Palin govenor just represents the right wing. Only time will tell if she (as an individual) will
unfortunately continue.. but if not she, then there will be someone else.

Ugh. Yes, you're right, Todd, the masses of people who came to see her didn't loathe her. In fact, I'd be hard pressed to find anyone who drew crowds of loathers. To get a better sense of the number of loathers, take a count of the people who didn't vote for her. Eight million more loathers than lovers.

Actually, considering the crowds she managed to draw in the little time she had for people to get to know here, I'd say she more than pulled her weight.

True, she drew those kinds of crowds because Budweiser is the, ahem, king of beers.

I'd agree with that...that was the point..but their (Republican Party) hasty, transparent decision resulted in one of the most shallow and narrow-minded puppets ever for the ticket. She did get my attention - because of her nomination, I became a solid Obama supporter and donated money to his campaign!! I just hope she enjoys living in that glass house of hers as she replenishes her supplies of stones for the future.

I hope she runs on the Republican ticket in 2012 just to see Sean Hannity and company meltdown again when she loses. That is enough for me to tolerate her.

whether you loved or hated the woman, agreed or disagreed with her isn't the issue. the media was knit picking at every last detail about her,yet totally ignored The Messiah's and Plugs Biden's history. The interview is there to show that there is a strong media bias and how she's upset that reporters didn't treat her the same way as the other candidates, or vice versa. Not about whether she's qualified to be VP.

That the media was capable of recognizing a circus clown, even without her clown makeup, is really what is at issue here. If everyone was laughing at her, it was of her own making.
