My question is mostly aimed at the men-who-love-men who have served or are currently serving: I've heard over the past few years that the general attitude towards gays in the military has become more lax; i.e., fellow soldiers/sailors/Marines knowing about your sexual preferences and not really caring about it regardless...has this been true for you?

Obviously I'd love to see this changed with Obama's intent to officially eliminate Don't Ask Don't Tell, but in the meantime, I'm just wondering what your actual personal experiences have been?

BTW...this is my first post on RJ, so..."Hi!"
