Disproportionate Body Parts

I think I am pretty even, my shoulders are small but I have been working on em and they have been getting bigger. I would consider my arms to be my best part. I don't think they severely over power my other body parts like chest, etc though.

So is it just genetics how some people have really disproportionate body parts? Or is it muscle neglect or even over training? I see a lot of guys with huge chests but there arms get dwarfed by their chest. I see that in a lot of Latin guys for some reason icon_confused.gif I've seen some of the opposite-big arms small chest, but not as much as big chest/small arms.

Obviously we all know the big upper bodies/chicken legs lol

You guys see a lot of body disproportion in your gyms?

It's both genetics and overworking favorite muscle groups.

I feel it could be genetics. I did see a picture one time of a guy with a smaller upper body but he had bigger/thicker legs. It was strange yet cool. icon_smile.gif

You have a pretty beefy bod, if you lost 7 pounds or so, your shoulders would stand out more in relation to the rest. I'm not saying your overweight! I think you look damn hot as you are, but I think that's the source of your malcontent.

For me with my extra beefy body (that's charitable), working my shoulders extra hard is key to having a chance at a pleasing shape, and balancing out my fat!

Somehow my right pec is always smaller than my left no matter how hard I try to balance my workout.

I also can't get my shoulders to get bigger. People tend to comment on my arms because they stand out in comparison to my other body parts. icon_confused.gif

Well obviously I didn't see your reply or I wouldn't have made the same joke right after. Or maybe we were writing the reply at the same time but you clicked the sent button before me.

It's genetics. Working out just amplifies it.

icon_sad.gif I've been trying to get some new wetsuits made up, but all the usual places have gone out of business during the Bush depression. Rack suits don't fit me at all.

Next time, get Igor to steal all the body parts from the SAME SIZE cadavers.

This. And, I'll also add, underworking less favorite body parts. The body is one, and the parts are all connected. I never cease to be amazed when I find a new exercise for what I think is for a particular body part, and it ends up working other body parts.

Change up your workout and see if you get the results you seek.

my legs are way bigger than my upper body, means I just train them once a week rather than twice and also I just get the short shorts out when im in the club! Turns EVERYONE's heads!!!

Jut flaunt ur assets and don't cry about the smaller parts. x
