Ok haters don't bother posting. NOW to people who have or are going to attend a Beyoncé concert (thanks to my BFF they were able to get tickets before they went on sale to the general public), please share a picture of what you wore or are wearing?

I've been practicing lyrics and I have been listening to my favorite country artists lately (I love Brad Paisley, God I wish he was gay and into Asians adopted into Italian American families -- that twang of his mmmmm) -- anyway my reason for not listening to Bey or Jay is SO tomorrow I will have "virgin ears". It will be as if I was hearing them for the first time!

Now I planned in wearing a nice button down shirty or a nice tee, BUT I think it's going to be too hot for that. When I was at the gym today I had the great idea of wearing sweat pants and a UA shirt. I know it's not fashionable, but I plan on dancing and singing/rapping my A$$ off!

Here's what I wore earlier at the gym today:

    photo image_zpsa932a016.jpg

I own several of the same grey UA shirts (I buy multiples of things I really like). I also realized I should put my Otterbox on my phone for tomorrow. I cleaned it recently and actually prefer the case I have on it now (it's less bulky) BUT I know the Otterbox has actually saved my phone one time when it fell on concrete (I was carrying a bunch of groceries and it wasn't all the way in my pocket).

Last but not least. I don't think they will have a problem with my gym outfit BUT of they do I figured I'll bring nicer clothes and leave them in the car or hotel room?

Jay-Z has rapped about not having a father growing up, about being a minority, and how it's not cool to be a dead beat dad. Get your facts straight or were you taught in school not to have a bibliography? icon_rolleyes.gif

Beyoncé has surpassed Diana Ross times a million. Diana Ross has a soft and meek voice. Ross is apparently nasty in person as well -- my grandmas neighbor used to work for her.

The fact you're comparing her to Diana Ross shows you're stuck in your own time period -- grow and evolve dude. I'm not even saying you have to like her music, just learn to be a little modern. Has Diana Ross sung for the President; performed alone at the Super Bowl; won 17 Grammys; broke the iTunes record. Not to mention Beyoncé is more attractive than that nasty hag.

Beyoncé represents a celebrity in all it's glory. She's a representation of American hard work, and that against all odds anything is possible. She has been able to represent millions of black and African American girls who look up to her, and know that they are represented in a positive light -- in an extremely biased media (more so when you were growing up if you're in fact 54).

Regardless of what you believe her vocal talent and range goes beyond singers whom I admire such as Adele and Bublé. Although she can sing "proper" or as my lame friend calls it "white", her runs should be known forever. The same way Whitney Houston had amazing vibrato and strength.

Beyoncé's main gift is her vocal talent, but she dances better than most. Britney Spears would be a joke next to her. She's also been able to be a celebrity without doing drugs or getting into serious trouble.

If a celebrity is a representation of an ideal and is able to connect people from all walks of life, Beyoncé is not only a celebrity BUT she is THE CELEBRITY of the 21st century.

BEST CONCERT EVER… I didn’t get a program they ran out (people were buying 3-4 at $25 a pop) and I waited till after the concert to try and buy merchandise BUT I did get her disc on vinyl and now I’ll need a record player. Hope people enjoy this video; I also realized this was my 4th CONCERT!!!!

I want to see Michael Buble or Brad Pasley next OR another Beyoncé or Jay-Z concert would work icon_biggrin.gif

Okay I regret making comments about a certain members age in regards to understanding music.

I get that in the past rock music was considered noise to the parents who listened to their sons or daughters playing it.

I feel that hip-hop and rap are not given the credit they deserve as an art form. DON'T GET ME WRONG the songs about sex, drugs, and death are overplayed. Not everyone can sing like Buble, Whitney, or Beyoncé; if people use other forms to express themselves (lyrically) there is nothing wrong with that.

I'd rather be smart and loved than "good looking", but it's the best way to get my abs to show -- lord knows I've earned them.

owl_bundy saidokay, anoriginal, what rappers besides beyonce's husband do you listen to?

Mainstream ones that come to mind are Nelly, Kanye West, and Nicki Minaj. I also have friends with CDs out (both singers and rappers), but only friends would know know who they are.

I know Kanye West can act dumb in public sometimes, but I love his music.
