My first reaction was to poke fun at Kyle. But that's too easy.
We as Gay men complain that we're underrepresented in mainstream media. Then one of us is put on the screen and we POUNCE on him.
Sure, we've come far, starting with Gays on MTV's Real World, Ellen's coming out and ironically, ending modern day with the mainstream popularity of The Ellen Show. But the last frontier is commercial media -- you know you've arrived when advertisers recognize the impact you have on their sales. lol
So rather than make fun, I am going to compliment Time Warner Cable for showcasing an employee different from the garden variety, hired models of similar ads. Kudos to you and your mammoth company with over-priced commodity products generally intended to keep our asses indoors, in our chairs, inactive while "interacting with others".
I'd also like to say to Kyle, well done. You have a job you like, a boyfriend, a life worth sharing with others and you seem happy.
