    What's up?

I'm trying to bulk up and I am looking for ideas for fast-to-make, protein-heavy lunches. Suggestions?

Mix up some corn, beans, pasta sauce and whatever meat you choose. I usually put some casing-free lowfat chicken sausage in there as that's convenient. Takes under 10 minutes to make, is very high in protein, and lasts 2 lunches if you use a can of corn, a can of beans and 5 sausages.

Before, I used to make footlong subs with about a third of a pound of turkey meat, hummus, tomato and avocado. Those taste good, but really need to be made the day of to still be fresh, and I don't have time for that.

Do you have a Trader Joe's nearby? They have lots of premade choices that have a decent amount of protein. I usually end up having a protein bar around 11 then lunch around 1, to make sure I get enough protein and calories in.

Not more than once a week (mercury) but a big red leaf lettuce salad with red peppers, tomatoes, onions (if you like), a can of water-packed albacore tuna with a big sploosh of non-fat italian dressing and a chopped up hard boiled egg. Hot sauce if you like. 30+ grams of protein. The fat grams are practically negligible. I usually get hungry an hour later so followed by a protein shake.
