MAN BOOBS !!!!

    so I lost over 20 pounds working out for 3 months , no diet just tuning down the eating ,,, but the fat is being replaced with muscles every where except in the chest , its not going ! can you advice me how to get rid of my man boobs
    any certain wok outs

    Looking at your photograph, I don`t think you`ve got a big problem there. You`re five foot nine and hundred seventy pounds

    First thing would be to reduce the fat, especially the animal fats, in your diet.

    On exercises, you could try press ups with your hands placed slightly wider than your shoulders.

    Time heals all boobs.

    For some people it's love handles, for others, man boobs. OVERALL fat reduction happens over time. You can't spot reduce, and spot lifting with chest exercises will help lift and separate the fat to give the ILLUSION of firmness but not directly help u lose it. If it's any consolation you'll lose fat faster than you can build muscle.

    that is my understanding from all of my extensive interweb research over this year. you can't target belly fat either. you just have to reduce your overall bodyfat percentage.

    OP: you've made amazing progress in 3 months. stay motivated and keep doing whatever is working and you'll get there icon_smile.gif

    Reduce overall fat is the best answer. You dont look bad I had man boobs big time. Trust me on this limit your dairy. If you use milk in protein drink replace it with almond milk or water.More than anything you need to replace that fat w muscle by doing compound exercises. I do realize its more mental than anything . Good luck to you from a former man boob sufferer

    I agree that you do not have man boobs and you have the built fat build. I am no expert of course but think a low fat/ low carb diet and high reps (5 sets of 10) on the bench press and some pushups should do the trick. Jogging will also burn fat, run as fast as you can a few times for like several yards.

    You look FINE!.....Try this old Hollywood trick... a tube of hemorrhoid cream....and apply/rub it in to the chest and around the chest and the side below the armpits....for a temporary tightening of the skin to reduce the "loose" or "sag" of "manboobs....You don't have MOOBS....but this will tighten the skin.....works on the face too for wrinkles and puffy areas.....NOT IN THE EYES! icon_cool.gif

    Also, try to cut out foods that change your proper male hormonal balance by causing the creation more estrogen in your system at the expense of testosterone. This is a big consideration with "manboobs". Avoid dairy for sure as someone earlier pointed out to you. There are other foods and drinks to avoid. Consult a natropathic doctor on this.

    When you lose weight relatively quickly, the fat cells deplete but stick around. You know, just in case you'd like to fill them up again. That's the reason why it's going to be much easier to put on weight again, so be cautious! Those cells are just waiting for some fat to pad them, they feel lonely, unwanted, and insecure right now!

    Once your body realizes the extra padding is unnecessary, it will break down the fat cells one by one. That can take a long time, depending on your diet. They will eventually go away, though.

    For now, you can over-express your pectorals, which will make the fat cell sag just a dip in your giant chest. Also, working on your abs will make the moobs just look like part of an 8-pack.

    In any case, don't worry: they will go away on their own, just give it time.

    I agree with pretty much everyone here, that your man boobs aren't bad, they may just lack some definition. Also agree with some of the other comments on diet. I went strict paleo diet for a month and noticed a huge change in my lean body composition and a reduction in bf. I would suggest that and keep it up in the gym. I think you will see a big difference in the definition of your boobs.

    you cannot do this by lifting weights alone.
    you cannot "spot-reduce" fat by targeting one area.

    the only exercise that you can do to reduce fat is cardio-vascular exercise (run on a treadmill or elliptical, swim, bike, row, etc.). this will get you sweating and your heart beating faster, and burning your stored fat.

    do 20mins of cardio as a warm-up to your weight routine, and monitor your heart rate: hit the fat-burning zone

    so for someone your age, you should aim for a heart rate of 110-130 beats per minute (the weight management/fat burning zone)

    you have to change your diet. reduce the bad fats (saturated animal fat, lard, butter, etc), increase the good fats (olive oil and vegetable oils, fish, tofu, etc.). reduce sugars and carbohydrates (pasta, bread, pastries, etc.). focus on lean protein and vegetables.

    I think I know what you mean. I think you are looking for the chiseled squarish look, rather than that rounded cup look. You may not have the genetics. You could opt for surgery to have the glad remove, then you may just end up with a flat look. Military presses will help build the upper plate. Stay completely away for declined bench presses with will build the under part of your breast giving them that boob look.

    And if you want to get looking like the guys below, you basically have to get down to almost zero body fat
