Could be interesting but, like Michael Moore films, I think it will mostly be preaching to the choir.

It was really good, although Richard Dawkins did a documentary called The God Delusion which I feel was much better. You can watch the entire documentary on YouTube. I also like Richard Dawkins more than Bill Maher.

I love Bill's show on HBO! He's been an atheist for many years.

It's completely AWESOME when these false belief systems are exposed for the malarkey that they are!

I can't wait to go see the flic!

Even if programs like this only save a few minds, they are well worth it.

Clearly those who have been brainwashed since early childhood will not come to a logical form of thinking, but, films like this help to expose the mind control, hypocrisy, corruption, and just plain weak-mindedness of their followers.

I'm not sure if it will be a commercial hit, but, I am sure it will get a few people thinking about all the terrible things that come from these false belief systems.

    Way to go Bill!

It was a bit preachy like a Michael Moore film, but still brought up a lot of good point. And a bunch of funny parts too. I recommend it.

Looks good, right in line with my thoughts and I am hope it will help even a few people step away from their upbringing/brainwashing and logically look at religion.

Only faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour leads to reconciliation with God, not religion. Religion is man's way of earning heaven by working for it (whichever form it takes). The Bible teaches that Salvation is a free gift given to everyone who commits himself to Jesus Christ as Saviour. The doctrine is called Justification by Faith, and those who believed in it were persecuted by religious people, and often killed by them, especially by the Roman Catholic Church, who insists to this day that salvation is not by faith alone, but also by trying to earn it.

it was a bit funny. it left a lot to desire. i wanted a deeper view of judaism and islam. however, what they do show of religion was hysterical.

If I were at all inclined to worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, I'd convert to the religion of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Christianity's claim that Yahweh will kick my ass for not idolatrously worshiping a pagan, false messiah, man-god is ludicrous. Christianity is to Judaism what Mormonism is to mainstream Christianity: a heretical spin-off cult. The Jewish perspective is very clear on why Christianity is completely bogus:

" The Bible teaches that Salvation is a free gift given to everyone who commits himself to Jesus Christ as Saviour."

And "Peter Cottontail" teaches us that a basketful of Easter joy is what makes you gay. How many of you have ever had an Easter basket? Raise your hands? Oh? Everyone? See, Easter makes you gay.

    Bringin' ev'ry girl and boy
    A basketful of Easter joy
    Things to make your Easter
    Bright and gay

If a commitment is involved, it's not free. Lots and lots of people on earth never even hear of JC. Delusional devils.

Saw it in the one movie theater that actually showed it (had to drive a few extra minutes, but was worth it), and will be buying it when it comes out to show to my parents primarily, lol. Shows the truth of confronting uninformed (see: dumb) people about their beliefs.. and might convince many to actually LEARN about their religion rather than just do the whole 'hand-me-down' thing. Ridicules religion a bit, but not more than religion has ridiculed everyone else.

I only worship Sesshōmaru now. Though he does sometimes piddle on the carpet and has been known to eat the occasional mail carrier.

These types of conflicts between religions are what are responsible for what's going on in Gaza as well as September 11. People need to realize that religion is extremely dangerous, something I think Religulous and The God Delusion show pretty clearly. For that, these movies are definitely must-sees.
