Why are gay men generally bottoms?

It's like the vast majority of gays that I've met both IRL and online prefer to bottom and be dominated.

Is it because they want to be in touch with their 'girl side'?

    What about tops or versatiles?

Of course it has everything to do with being in touch with their female side, even if unconsciously. In nature females take it and males give it. Females are on 4 and males hump them. Its pretty basic stuff. I'm sorry for all the people offended by this, we had this conversation before and 60% of RJs are butt-hurt about it.

I don't know the answer, but I have noticed a slowly growing number of gay men who aren't into anal sex at all.

Yes, but I'm talking about bottom sex in general which includes sucking dick. Penises are meant to be aroused and "jerked" in order to cum, right? Then doesn't that logically mean that getting your penis sucked is way better than sucking another guy?

In my limited experience, the gay men I've met who aren't into anal sex also aren't into oral sex...even getting sucked. They'd rather touch, be touched, masturbate, and dabble in a few fetishes.

But women have vaginas. Vaginas have clits. Mouths and buttholes have no clits or g-spots. That's why I don't get the fascination with bottom sex.

    Mens "g-spots" are their prostates...

In my experience, most gay men I know are predominantly versatile.

    That's a myth. There are no G-spots in a guy's ass.

It's just a theory. There is no evidence. You can ask all the dudes that get prostate exams. They never end up liking it.

Maybe because they are straight and are automatically turned off by someone sticking a finger(s) up their ass?

Ironically, the prostate isn't even located in the anus. And if it is a G-Spot, why don't guys get turned on when they take a shit? It's a myth. icon_rolleyes.gif

You are right, the prostate isn't in the anus. I guess it needs something more forceful to 'entice' it icon_lol.gif

That's a stupid argument. Ask all the women who get vaginal exams if they like it...

I don't think a doctor is trying to pleasure a guy when doing a prostate exam.

A finger, a dick, a piece of shit, what's the difference? It's still someting up the ass. How can that give someone pleasure? BTW, women don't have prostates.

    First of all, some anatomy:
The prostate adjoins the rectum. So when a dick slides into it, it hammers against the prostate.

And yes, there is a g-spot for guys. Did you ever hear of an anal orgasm? No? I'm not surprised.
Many of us have experienced it and would definitely say there is that certain spot that makes you crazy.

Don't you think taking a shit and getting fucked are two toally different situations? One in which you are absolutely not aroused and release yourself from crap (which, by the way, is too soft to have an impact on the prostate). And the other in which you are fucking horny and have a hard throbbing cock hammering against your prostate again and again.
These situation couldn't be more different. To compare these two is one of the most stupid things I've read.

And lastly... it just feels fucking awesome. Deal with it.

Another thread meant to shame bottom guys. Please stop it. As a top (well versatile) i'd be lost without bottoms, so I make sure I treat them well and not shame them.
