    U.S. Missteps in Central America Could Endanger LGBTs

    "The increase in migration of unaccompanied minors coincides with a rise in regional violence. Recent annual homicide rates in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras are at least twice as high as those in Iraq for the same periods, according to U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC) data reported by Vox. The same data indicate that, at times, Honduras has suffered 30 percent more homicides than Iraq suffered at the height of the latter country's war."
