Not according to unique visitors, Number of members who are active, number of members, & even based on year over year growth. One of them is so low that it does not even appear in the top 50. What are you basing this on and if it is article what methodology did they utilize.

Using a composite of the top four methods that are used ( in order to set advertising rates) include:

    match.com, outpersonals.com, squirt.org, men.com, GuySpy.com, friendfinder.com & zoosk.

One of your citations base it only on advertising spending. Nowhere did it mention specific advertising targeting particular groups; in fact it was a general advertising campaign.

And from what I could ascertain briefly reading the other it was partially based on an opinion poll that had a large deviation that would not be statistically applicable anywhere (+/- 17.30%)

Maybe for straight people, but not for gay people. I'm thinking those stats are bought and paid for.

Great insight as I just finished another search regarding the one site not in the top 50 in any of the metrics used.... and 1 was totally paid for by that particular site and the other was placed conveniently enough next to ads purchased. and please notice I am trying to be fair in not mentioning that site.

Zoosk sort of sucks because if someone sends you a message, you can't just open it in your inbox, you have to subscribe. WTF.

Fair how(?) when people are looking for reviews of sites so a service provider can be chosen to provide a needed service in life.

OKCupid is not a good service provider because they are known to be unresponsive to members who have trouble logging in.
