I hear guy's discuss the topic of a colonscopy, and there saying oh it was embarrassing and uncomfortable.
My Dr has me set up for one soon and I'm actually looking forward to it, most guys say they sedate you slightly, but me I want to be wide awake, I wanna know what there doing and see all.
Can any one tell me what to expect.

Ok. What you mean is a colonoscopy, where they look up your ass around the first couple of bends to see whether it's all healthy. Mostly for people over 50.

A colostomy is when something is seriously fucked up with your bowels and they have to dig you a new asshole. It comes in a nice package with the famous colostomy-bag.

I hope for your sake, that you were talking about the first one.

Try to schedule it late in the week so that you'll have plenty of recovery time. A friend of mine had one recently and she was in bed for a day or two afterwards; she's in her late 60s.

I'm way past due for mine.

Don't worry. The prep is the worst part of it and it might not be that bad for some people. The actual procedure is a piece of cake. Nice nap and you never knew what happened, until they give you the pics of your colon. icon_lol.gif
