Lately I have just been feeling so angry I have an urge to kill someone. I don't know just people who annoy me when I'm out I look at them and think about killing them in a very violent way. I envision it. I know it's not normal so I don't know what to do and how not to be so angry all the time. Anyone else feel this way?

No. I have put behind me in the past because it isn't worth it. But I won't lie to myself and deny that I did have that thought and intention in a bad relationship with someone but like I said before those days are long gone for now at least.

No. I have never felt this way. Since you live in the US and getting access to a gun is insanely easy, I suggest you get help for your anger issues before you end up on the news for something terrible. By help, I mean talking to your doctor or other medical professional.

I felt angry to the point of beating someone up, heck you know I miss fist fights actually (it was okay back home, but not okay in canada).
But no, I never felt like killing someone, it is just not thinkable for me. Although, if someone hurts someone I love, then yeah I think I'd feel like killing someone.

I have grown to believe that no one should ever be allowed to have the power to drive me to the point where I would even vaguely consider any form of violence against anyone.

I have a pair of very broad shoulders, and am good at shrugging with them.

No it's not normal at all. They are not "just people" they are human beings, someone loves them. Someone loves you. Don't devalue them, or yourself. Reach out to what you don't understand. Through them as people, personify them as individuals. Understand them. Everyone is annoying at times, even you! It's a human condition.

WHY are you angry? These people, annoying as people can be, are not the source of your anger. Annoying people are just that, annoying! Nothing to kill for. Certainly there would be repercussions for you too. I laugh and let it go....and they are gone in a few seconds. Killing someone who is merely annoying, ironically only attaches you to them...for all time. There is a much larger issue here. I can not say whatbut you need to find out fast. Seek clinical help. Now.

Edit: I read a post you made about Ann B Davis' death from the Partridge Family. You HAVE empathy. You can feel that for everyone, even strangers, annoying you.

There's a clich├ęd phrase "God, I could kill him" - in this sense, although obviously not literally thinking about it, people in a sense have metaphorically/ironically thought about it. And if some people deny saying this phrase, it can only mean one thing about this person: they're lying.

I would find a rational way to stand your ground and tell them off so that you don't retain anger. Or for complete idiots, walk the other way and laugh it off. Watch the movie Gandhi.

Considered killing? No, never. But I have one or twice told someone to go to hell.

    Yes, many times, and often.
But then again, I'm a German. Anger is in my blood.

I would be careful admitting having strong emotions of this sort on this forum, some will decide you're a potential mass murderer.

As for 'what to do' I would suggest speaking with a counselor or therapist. I would ask: Are you on any medications? Are you taking steroids? Has this just begun recently or has this been a long-term issue for you? Chemical imbalances or changes in brain chemistry *can* in some instances produce these kinds of reactions. If it is persistent and seems near uncontrollable, as in "rage", I wouldn't ignore it.

Beyond that, there can be all kinds of causes for it. Stress, for example. Unresolved anger issues that may go back to childhood. Any number of things.

We're the most peace-loving people on the planet. Nobody is more into nudism than the Germans (and Austrians)

No, it's not normal. At all. Please make an appointment with a qualified therapist. It's one thing to have that enter your mind briefly if someone has hurt you horribly, but to just have those thoughts about total strangers is a huge red flag. Seriously, please see someone immediately.

Meh. I know people who have killed people. It's not really a big deal. Soldiers do it all the time without consequence or remorse. 6 billion idiots breeding like rabbits, someone's gotta thin the herd. No, seriously. Someone or something /has/ to. If it's not a bullet from the barrel of a gun or shards of shrapnel, it's a deadly contagion like the black plague. Moral objectivity.

OP, just join the military. You'll have tons of people to kill, both guilty and innocent, plus you can even get away with it.
Get help if you want, but if you are a "psychopath", I doubt a psychologist would be of much assistance.

Thankfully I'm no danger. Although taking that sort of nonchalant approach to someone who actually IS mentally ill is what's dangerous. That's why mass murders happen. The problems these people have are downplayed until it is too late.

you're overreacting. icon_lol.gif chill. this is why people don't step up to express their thoughts because instead of letting them speak their minds, saying how they feel. they get told that it's wrong to speak up or bash for the thoughts in their mind. the more people expressed themselves like this, the less people would be stressed up or passive aggressive. passive aggressiveness is not healthy. not only does it harm the people around that passive aggressive person, they hurt themselves too.

Tell you what, I'll give him a Baretta, lock you both in a padded room for 72 house. Listening to nothing but "It's a Small World After All."

He's talking about KILLING someone in a violent way. Scares me! Chill your ass!
