Has anyone ever gotten at tattoo and then put on or lost alot of weight? Muscle or otherwise? How does it affect the aesthetics of the tattoo, in terms of shape etc?

I just got this image in my head of a guy with a tattoo of a penis on his belly getting fat. That being said: http://muscle.iuhu.org/2010/08/muscle-mass-and-body-changes-can-affect-tattoos/

I hooked up with a guy once who had "Tiny" tattooed on his dick. I started to laugh, but when it got hard it read "Tiny's Delicatessen and Catering Service."

Maybe it depend on the tattoo and where it is, I'm thinking of getting some ink done, long as I don't regret it later on.

It depends on the ink they use. Some make you gain wait, others make you lose weight.

If there's quite a bit of weight change it will always affect the tattoo, regardless , you can always re touch or remove , its pretty common these days

Some tattoos are ok, smallish one's maybe on a shoulder or on the back. Guys over do it, going for those tribal designs. At time's it looks like they got smacked with a wet newspaper. Tattoos are permanent and difficult to remove, they are expensive too. When you get older and the skin loses it's elasticity (it's what happens when we get old), the tattoo discolours and loses shape. Tattoo's, not for me thanks.
