    Is anybody else watching it?

Is anybody outside of Scotland outraged that ITV are not showing this debate on television? They are streaming it globally HOWEVER not everyone has Internet access and I feel sad for those people that they are being excluded from even being engaged in this debate despite the fact this is the most significant referendum since joining the European Union. (sorry for the long sentence but I'm just so annoyed about the situation)

There probably isn't that much interest outside the UK. The result of the vote will be interesting - How important is it for the Scots to regain their independence from England at the cost of maybe losing a source of economic growth? Are the Welsh next?

I'm annoyed though because england, Wales and northern Ireland should be having this debate televised. Personally I would rather the Scotts had independence if it meant we don't have to have this debate again but this whole referendum has an effect on everyone in the United Kingdom and therefore ITV should play it across the union.

Alex Salmond is a snake oil salesman. He is the equivalent of England's Mr Farage so if the Scotts want to follow him down the yellow brick road I'm not sentimental about it so long as they don't come back wanting to rejoin and they take on a fair proportion of the UK debt.

Personally as an englander who is not from London I would rather have a vote on kicking London out of the UK as opposed to Scotland walking out.

Cheers for the link to the blog because STV isn't working for me icon_sad.gif

I guess I just have to keep my fingers crossed the BBC will show a nationwide debate.

The union has been pretty stale for some time now and in need of change but as for the flag I don't care. I'm not sentimental about flags and such.

it's not televised nationally throughout the UK? Wow, somebody is scared. I hope Scotland succeeds.

I'd rather take my chances with independence than follow orders from the sociopaths in London.

You're right about London Danny, but the City residents probably hold 90% of the UK's wealth

Tbh if scotland succeeds and then becomes part of the EU I can just move there. The fact is an independent scotland will not be as economically viable in its present state but I trust it will be a fairer society. I worry somewhat for my nation though because if Scotland break away right before what looks to be a hung election the UK will possibly be stuck with a conservative government again. Scotland doesn't vote tory so we need their seats to get the tories out. The NHS or the country as a whole won't survive another George Osborne, Ian Duncan Smith and David Cameron government.
