I saw the original video of this before it was taken down. The original video was totally uncut footage...of a radio control airplane that lost its wing. The R/C pilot managed to land the plane on its side, only damaging the propeller.

Then a few weeks later I noticed the video was gone, and this video popped up.

Yeah - VERY fake. Just before he touches down, the plane is flying sideways, pointing up at a 45 degree angle. Just what control surfaces on the plane could cause that instantaneous roll to the left, along with lowering the nose to horizontal in a tiny fraction of a second? Even if that were possible, estimating his speed as at least 60-80 knots (by the speed at which the background passed by) how could he roll to a gentle stop in 5 seconds?

Who knew? Guess I'm a trusting soul. Not used to being lied to, or reading bogus stories from sub-par news sources. Why dredge up such "news" for people to see?
