southbeach1500 saidMetta8 unit: I know you are only programmed to copy and paste a headline and a link and not to first check to see if a human has posted the same topic already, however I will point out for the humans reading this that I posted this topic several days ago here:

Except that few here read you anymore, which is why you're so enraged with metta8 and jealous of him. His postings have far more readership, and more real RJ interest, than anything you ever post. Which is almost 100% political and anti-Obama.

But rail against him all you like, you merely come across as a disruptive, petulant bully who's not getting his own way. icon_razz.gif

It doesn't matter if a Russian missile zipped across our country. This fucktard in office wouldn't do anything about it anyway, he would be at a fund raiser

They're testing our resolve...One toe nail within our air space, we should shoot them outta the air...Tit for tat.

Shooting them out of the air for toes into our airspace isn't tit for tat.

I was using the Ukraine as an example. Nothing has stopped their involved in Ukraine because there is zero push back from the world community. Now they decide to test our resolve by flying close to our air space. After the U. S. shoots down one of their planes, they'll understand not to push it any further. We are the world powerhouse and others should respect that.

It's a legitimate point of view, but shooting down Russian planes could get very ugly very fast. Strength doesn't always need to negotiate with strength; Speak softly, but... And anyway, Putin is not a rational statesman; he needs to be treated with a great deal of caution.

tazzari...Our government has been speaking softly, and the Russians continue their actions..We've spoken softly long enough....Now we should let them taste the "Big stick".

I suppose it depends on what big stick we swing. War is never a good thing, and with patience - a long view - there are almost always ways to achieve the same thing without tipping us into a world war.

Jusst glad it's not my job to decide how!
