I broke my tail bone several years ago. Although it is "healed" it will never be fully healed. Every time I do sit ups or any Ab exercises on the floor I find that it hurts my lower back/tail bone. Are there any other Ab work outs that won't put pressure on my butt?

Hanging leg raises, with twists. Does your gym have a trx system? YouTube has videos for trx ab exercises. Planks.

Sit ups might work if you do them on a gymnastic ball.

Planks, especially with TRX. No weight on your tailbone at all. And all the plank variations. Hardcore on your abs. I was a situp/crunch guy for years. It works. But a gymnast friend made me do planks. My abs never looked better. My abs got flatter and tighter than ever without bulk.

Dragonflies, Weighted [medicine ball] overhead sit-ups on a gym ball, leg pullups on a bench with your butt off the bench, pully pull down crunches from a kneeling position.
yoga can strengthen the core as can dumbbell training [as opposed to barbells].
    Good luck
