JUST GOT CIRCUMCISED - Any Good Advice?

So i went to the doctor today to get circumcised for medical reasons AKA: Balanitis- Its known that after initial infection it can become very difficult for foreskin to move back and forth. Interesting procedure to watch and it was incredibly painful at times (Somehow the scar tissue from the infection didnt react to the anesthesia like it should've and was hyper sensitive).

Anyways, I was hoping to get some advice and ask a few questions about the next 2 months (healing) and being cut from now on in general.

What kind of pants would be most comfortable whilst healing? And undies, no undies or commando?

The Healing time is 4-6 weeks? The doctor just said till the stitches disintegrate or fall out.

Preference. So i told a guy i like I'm getting circumcised and he begged me not to do it. He said he loved uncut guys. What is the general preference?

During masturbation, will lube be required occasionally? I know circumcised guys dont need it, but its not unheard of. Opinions on this?

Stamina. After one of my good friends got circumcised he said that he wasn't lasting as long as he used to. I dont know if his stamina improved as his head became more acclimatised to all the contact, i was too shy to ask. Has anyone found that their stamina affected post circumcision.

This one really doesn't bother me that much as sex isnt about parts sliding and penetrating, but im curious...So the whole thing about lost sensitivity... Myth or no myth? Anyone have a circumcision as late as i did or later?

Thanks in advance for the advice. Hope i dont miss that little piece of skin.

I would think that tight briefs would be best. Trunk briefs, boxer briefs, or regular briefs, and tight; you don't want any movement or abrasion. If briefs aren't normally tight on you try going down a size. And ones that have spandex/elastic throughout the fabric will be better.

Just for the record I prefer uncut cock but would never reject a guy because he was cut.

I was cut as an infant so I have no advice to give. Sorry.

I have noticed that generally uncut guys can JO and cum without lubricant. I can't. I generally need lube to JO and cum. It will be interesting to know what your experience will be.

    Hope you get well soon!

I'm uncut and I'm considering to go to the doctor to become cut too. No special reason, just health, is the only to have the cock 100% clean, the outside part is not enough. They say the sooner the better, otherwise, when you reach 50 years for example, recovery is harder.

Something I heard is that during the healing process, you must avoid getting your dick hard, and also forget about masturbating. Not sure about this, lets see if somebody can confirm this. If true, this is the main reason I'm scared of becoming uncut, I'm not sure if I will be able to keep my cock soft for 2 months.

Oh really? Do you not clean underneath your foreskin properly?

I'm not questioning your decision (it's YOUR body, you do what you prefer with it), but I'm questioning the assertion that it's 100% clean when cut (it's not).

id say wear underarmour compression shorts to keep everything in place and not moving around.. the more movement the more painful. keep it snug against fabric. As far as sensitivity goes id assume with time everythin becomes desensitized and ur stamina will return again..

There's no myth. Uncut guys are more sensitive. I'm cut and wish like hell I was uncut haha.

Uncut is my preference, looks healthier overall. I dated circumcised guys, it looks dryer and less interesting but it was never a deal breaker

Shazam. Your foreskin is no dirtier than your armpit if you shower daily and CLEAN yourself like every man should. Why would you cut off something that most of the world has unless it's medically necessary or for a religious practice? icon_rolleyes.gif

Yikes, I got circumcised at 5 and I still remember the pain decades later. But, at least I was unconscious for the surgery. I wouldn't want to watch my penis get mangled into a bloody mess.

During healing, you'd want to support your penis somewhat, maybe not with briefs, but at least boxer briefs. And I'd think any pants that weren't that tight would be a good thing.

As for whether your penis becomes less sensitive, I think the science is still out on that, though I wouldn't rule it out.

As for the sexual questions, I'll leave it to others to answer. Though when it comes to masturbation, there are times I use lubricant and other times I don't. It's just a matter of preference at the time.

I was cut when I was 14, so sensitivity-wise I do agree on the desensitizing effects of circumcision.

I do remember morning woods to be a painful experience after the surgery. Peeing on a bottle to make sure no urine gets around the head. Mostly, I wore loose shorts during the recovery period.

I still played with it with the stitches on, hehe. Can't help it. You know how it is.

southbeach1500 saidSorry you had to get cut.

It actually is possible to regrow most of what they cut off, if you decide you don't like being cut. I've done it. Message me if you're interested in learning more about it.

This sounds so interesting, i might have to give it a shot.

Its just so frustrating i feel like a guppy in a breeder tank...
I just got it cut off, now i have to grow it back...

We didn't get our son circumcised so he could have more feeling when he is old enough to have sex. He has 16 years to wait, hopefully!!

You say you're considering becoming cut for health reasons, but is there a reason you can't just pull back your foreskin and clean it with soap and water?

I don't know if you are also referencing other health benefits, but I hope part of your considering becoming cut involves doing well-done research on them. You'll find a lot of professionals speak about health benefits of being cut, but not all studies show those same health benefits and the ones that do only show a slight benefit at best. Hopefully, you'll take that into consideration when discovering all the risks involved in becoming cut.

Like shaving, becoming circumised will be cleaner, and less bacteria will gather, incidence of disease will be lower, etc. Pro un-cut folks will come up with a bunch of reasons for not doing it, but, there are lots of good reasons for doing it, too.

Thing is, it's done; it's your new normal.

The answer to your questions is easy. Do what you like and feel is the safest.

Sorry, but I can't let that statement stand. There are NO "good reasons" for getting circumcised unless you have a medical condition where circumcision is the ONLY option.

Thing is i had a medical reason... so your both right okay. No arguing icon_wink.gif

Both make valid points... I hate to hear about the desensitization though... I know its a fact
