    Another A-list republican burned up.
May Rick Perry's presidential candidacy rest in peace:

I wouldn't count your rotten eggs before they erupt. This is Texas. Not only will Perry survive this, he'll try to turn himself into a Right Wing martyr. And he may succeed. Not only in Texas, where it's a given, but nationally among US Republicans and Teabaggers, too.

Chris Christie is starting to rebound in the polls among Republicans, and this is after BRIDGEGATE. Not to mention a lot of GOP'ers think of him as an elitist Rockefeller Republican.

If Christie can survive, Perry DEFINITELY will.

As for Christie, that's for now. If he gets hit with a New Jersey State indictment, or worse, a Federal one, which is possible, he'll tank.

In Perry's case it's just an indictment from 1 Texas county, that votes Democratic. He can easily parry that, even play it into an advantage. And may be able to use some overriding State authority to quash it. Texas Republicans would cheer if he does.

What I wonder is whether there's some arcane Texas law that prohibits someone for running for office while under ANY indictment? Prolly not, but this is all unchartered territory.

Nah, better dig it up and re-bury it at the crossroads with a stake driven through its heart.

Yet another dumb comment from an RJ liberal, or, to write it in the "cool" way the GAMRican writes, lib-rullllll.

I already knew you were seriously stupid (or else are required under contract to spam the crap you do), but you're not even tactically smart.

GAMRican is one of the most admired guys here. A bad target to pick. Which will backfire on you.

But then you even attack meninlove. Which tells us a lot about you. I really do wish you'd be assigned to disrupt another site, but I guess we've just gotta put up with you for the present. icon_razz.gif

I did not say GAMRican is dumb.

Fact: I do not "attach meninlove."

Ah, I get it. GAMRican's comments are dumb, but he isn't. I'm glad you made that fine distinction. icon_rolleyes.gif

And I certainly hope you don't "attach" meninlove. I can't imagine to what things they would attach best.

I think we have to look at the difference in the crimes committed (accused of) and their severity:

    Christie: Retaliation (misdemeanor charge)
    Perry: Extortion (felony charge)
    Romney: Racketeering (felony charge)

Either way, this party reads like a who's who of mafia exploitations icon_rolleyes.gif

    Dumb Vs. Stupid?

If you ask me most of our famed politicians fall into one of these categorys!!

Perry seems to say a lot and accomplish little?
    Peg him against Romney!

    Peg Romney Vs. Obama?

    Russia?
    Unemployment?
    Lots of golf!

Who shall I vote for now?

    LOL
