I don't have a tattoo myself, but I see more and more tattoos at my gym lately, and a lot of them look really hot.

So share anything at all about your tattoo:
    - what image you got tattooed? why?
    - where on your body?
    - what inspired you?
    - any significance about your tattoo? commemoration?
    - at what age did you get your first tattoo?
    - any regrets?
    - your tattoo pic
    - etc.

Boy , y'all are afraid to tell where when and why you got a tattoo....

We'll let's see, I got a tattoo of a scorpion on my right calf, I was born in Nov so my zodiac sign is a scorpion.

Had several friends who helped me decide to get a tattoo and what to get, it was me on where to get it.

I want to get another tattoo , and I know tattoo shops will tattoo the bottocks area, I just gotta get the nerve to go do it, wish I had some one more private to go to for a tattoo on my butt.

I had what I considered small areolas. I like them big... so I got them tattoo'd larger. :v I was inspired by my fetish for big chests with big areolas, of course. No regrets, though I do get called pepperoni nips at times. A before and after. They are now 2 inches, in diameter~

I do want a game-themed tattoo somewhere... I just don't know what or where, since I have a hard time picking favorites.

I'm very happy I never got the tattoo I pondered for a couple of years, a wreath of roses with thorns around one of my ankles. Friends already told me it's a little girly, but I finally gave up on that idea when I saw the tat on a fat woman in New Orleans.

Now, 20 years later, I'm extra happy for not getting it. My overweight boss has that tattoo as well, ( yes, she's a woman and even older than I.)

I have 3, the ouroboros, kanji for loyalty and a half sleeve phoenix..were all dealing with the same idea.. rebirth..something from nothing..starting your life over..which is What I've done..after a pretty nasty childhood and a few stupid decisions as a teen.. I'm no longer anything like the boy I was growing up..so shy and timid, self hating and closed off from.the rest of the world

I just have the one, a fleur de leis on my right arm. I got it when I was about to leave my first duty station at Barksdale AFB, LA. I was there for a little over two years and had a blast. I wanted to get it to remind me of all the good times I had there.

I also got it because the fleur can be a sign of renaissance/rebirth and it was a signal of getting over some real alcohol problems.

It's just a simple tattoo---nothing extravagant, and it's just one color and small, and only slightly hidden. I didn't want to get it on a "normal" place and I didn't want something massive either, because that's just my personality.

I got this about 5 1/2 years ago.

I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I ended up designing my own.

I took the raven off my family crest and turned it in to a long tribal. The Celtic knot at its center is for my Irish heritage and the placement of a family tattoo on my leg is a tribute to my time growing up in the pacific islands.

    Pretty happy with it!

I have 3. First one was the bible verse on my right shoulder. John 15:13 - greater love has no one than this, than to lay down ones life for his friends. Got it when I was 22, no regrets it's how I feel for the people I care about.

Second and third tattoos I got in the same day. First one is the word protector on my right forearm. It's because I have and still spend my life protecting the weak and those I care for lol. The other one is a tribal version of a Phoenix. Bird of fire, new life comes from the Phoenix rising from the ashes of its predecessor. It's on my left shoulder going down to my chest. It represents my home town and my fiery personality lol. Plus I'm a ginger so I'm on fire anyhow lol. The tats should be in the pics on my profile. Got both of these last Christmas while on vacation. Plan on getting several more.

Canadian and Texan flag tattoo. Born north raised south. Want to build out on it though with some graffiti I saw while living in Montreal. Just figuring out how to incorporate it all.
